I loved how lightweight this formula is for oily skin! Since tea tree is the main base ingredient, if tea tree works well for you, it's fantastic for calming and soothing. I actually used this and rescued my irritated skin in just 3 days! Nothing major, but when I pour the toner from the bottle onto my hand, a little bit drips onto the container rim. Also, if tea tree doesn't agree with your skin, definitely skip this one! The formula is gentle and water-based, so it feels lightweight on the skin without any heaviness. I really appreciate how easy it is to use daily. Highly recommend this toner for oily, acne-prone skin! Five stars! Before trying this toner, I used EssenceHub and Bring Green tea tree toner. EssenceHub was pricey, but honestly, it didn't help my breakouts. Bring Green was more affordable and was actually the first toner where I could see my blemishes calm down with my own eyes. But since I was doing toner masks every day, I went through bottles so fast that the cost really added up. After going through about five bottles of Bring Green, I decided to try Rockies tea tree toner for the better value. The ingredients are similar, the feel is similar, and it does a pretty solid job calming my breakouts, so I'm planning to stick with it! Honestly, in terms of bang for your buck, it's a total win. Compared to Bring Green, the tea tree scent is definitely different in intensity. Bring Green does calm breakouts a bit faster, but that also means it might be more irritating for sensitive skin. The finish feels fresher though! Since it's a tea tree toner, it doesn't feel as hydrating, so I'd recommend it more for people with oily skin who are looking for breakout control and that clean, refreshed feeling rather than a moisture boost. The soothing effect works really well, and when I use this as a mask before makeup, it helps reduce redness and heat while making my makeup apply beautifully. Even though my skin is combination type, it gets quite dry before makeup application, so I layer it two or three times for better hydration. The lid leaks a bit, which is annoying. This lightweight water toner is perfect for using as a toner mask to soothe and calm your face, and since it comes in a generous size, you can use it generously without worrying about the cost. It's such great value for money! Since it's a water-based toner, it does feel a bit seasonal, but I'm really satisfied with how it works as my go-to product for spring and summer.
