After pregnancy, my dark spots became much more pronounced, and even multiple concealers couldn't hide them, so I decided to give this a try. At first, I didn't know how to use it properly and just thought it was a thick concealer, but now I can't do my makeup without it. I no longer need to layer foundation and concealer multiple times, so my makeup routine has become so much faster.
The shade runs a bit light, so if I use this, I have to cover my neck too, which is a hassle. I didn't notice any particular downsides otherwise. It does have a slightly thick and sticky texture, so there's some transfer, which means powder setting is absolutely necessary.
Apply your foundation as thinly as possible, then use this concealer only on the areas where you have blemishes or imperfections. Since it applies quite thickly, use a spatula to spread it thinly over just the spots you want to cover, let it set slightly, and then gently tap it with a sponge. If you spread it too widely, your whole makeup will look heavy, so make sure to only tap it on the specific areas you're trying to conceal. I'd only recommend this to people who, like me, need to cover larger areas!
