Plus, these powder products can be hit or miss when it comes to ingredients, but this one really delivers on that front too. 2. The texture is incredibly fine and lightweight with zero clumping. I applied it to my face at 11 AM, and by 10 PM it still looked fresh and smooth without any cracking or flaking. 3. Even if I only dab the puff on one spot, when I blend it out, the powder spreads beautifully across my whole face. And if I gently tap it on after application, there's absolutely no clumping at all. The plastic cap in the middle is the real issue here. Since the puff and mesh screen sit right underneath it, opening the cap sends powder flying everywhere. You really need to account for this even when using it at home. I took a photo after cleaning up from one spill, and you can see how far the powder scattered—there's still residue hiding in places I didn't even think to check. After foundation, I use the puff to gently sweep over my T-zone and cheekbones where pores tend to show, then tap it in lightly. The Puff is Incredibly Soft After 20 years of doing makeup and only using pressed powders, this was my first time trying a loose powder. Can a puff really be this soft? Coming from someone who's only experienced brushes, this was a whole new world! Compared to brushes, it's so incredibly gentle that my skin feels zero irritation. Since I have sensitive, easily flushed skin, I'm always careful not to irritate it further, and I'm thrilled that this product causes absolutely no discomfort. 3. Fine Particles Apply Smoothly and Evenly Since this was my first loose powder, I didn't know any better and picked up quite a bit of product. (I'd been eyeing another brand's lavender powder for a while) This is also my first time trying a tinted powder! The ingredients are naturally great! I was honestly worried that applying lavender on my face would make it look too pink or purple, but when I actually used it, the color payoff wasn't as strong as I expected. Instead, it gave me this beautiful brightening effect and a real tone-up boost that felt so natural! And about the formula itself - the particles are incredibly fine, so it applies so smoothly and seamlessly. The pore coverage is seriously impressive! The puff is also incredibly soft, so overall everything felt like an upgrade from my previous powder. Ha! The staying power is excellent too! Just like the description says and based on the ingredients - the surface feels powdery but it has this moisturizing feel underneath. Even when I accidentally applied it too thickly, I didn't experience any dryness at all! I loved that I could use it throughout winter without any dry patches. And I really appreciate that the powder and puff are kept separate with a divider in the middle, just like a cushion compact. It's so hygienic - great attention to detail! Highly recommend! I can tell I'll use this all the way to the end. Like I mentioned earlier, I found the amount control a bit tricky. Since powder shouldn't be applied too heavily, controlling the amount is really important, and personally I think the mesh-type design makes it harder to control the amount compared to other formats. I control the amount by tapping it onto a tissue first! I apply it after foundation or cushion, then add powder, followed by blush and contour. Oh, and when I first started using it, there was this paper seal in the middle - I wasn't sure what it was for, so I just used it as is. But after looking it up, I realized you're supposed to remove that middle paper before using it!
