I was looking for a facial balm to use instead of Vaseline, and since my skin has been dealing with folliculitis lately, I think this would be great for dry skin without breakouts because it has a lightweight, oil-free feel that's easy to apply. I applied this in the evening and it felt just like a hydrating moisturizer - really nice! I apply this at night before bed, and when I wake up the next morning, my skin feels incredibly smooth and silky. I'm already on my second jar because I'm absolutely loving it - it's definitely my favorite multi-balm so far! If you're someone who doesn't like sticky or heavy textures, you might want to use just a small amount, as this balm does have a richer consistency.

There's none of that typical heavy, sticky feeling you get with balms, just smooth, seamless absorption into the skin. I honestly couldn't find any downsides. The moisturizing power is really impressive. Out of all the emulsions I've tried, this one has the richest, most luxurious texture of any product in my collection. The heavy texture is definitely a drawback for me. My lips and neck tend to get really dry, so I've been using this regularly. The application is so smooth and easy! It's not really a downside, but here's something to keep in mind: don't apply this all over your face. I'm not entirely sure if this deeply hydrates or if it both hydrates and minimizes pores, but what I do know is my skin didn't feel dry at all After using this, my pores felt clogged and I got some small breakouts. My skin also felt a bit congested overall This works great when you layer a toner mask on top of it
