This product doesn't cause any darkening or oxidation. My complexion stays bright and radiant all day long. I love how it subtly glows through my foundation with this beautiful luminosity. I was really happy that there was no darkening from morning to evening, and I'm satisfied with it even though I didn't have high expectations for the primer function. I only used it for one day and I broke out all over my face - on my forehead, chin, and both cheeks. My skin normally doesn't get breakouts easily, and even when it does, it's usually something I can cover with makeup. But this is going to take a while to clear up. Honestly, I'd recommend trying a similar product from a budget beauty store instead. I've been using this product for years now, and it's become my go-to. When I apply it before makeup, my foundation lasts so much longer and my complexion looks noticeably brighter and more radiant. I did find it a bit drying at first, but once I started misting generously before application, it works beautifully.
