When I apply it lightly and layer my makeup on top, I really notice how much better my makeup stays in place throughout the day. I picked up this product because it's so popular, and wow, the staying power is absolutely incredible! Even in the summer heat, it doesn't break down or smudge, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well it holds up throughout the day. The scent is really not my thing. I tested this product while working a shift and even after showering at the water park, I noticed it definitely stayed put better than expected. The spray application could be stronger. It's not exactly a perfect hold - it more just prevents the product from completely washing away. I think the original formula works better.

It's definitely less drying than the original, though the staying power isn't quite as strong. That said, the original formula has such incredible hold that this is just a minor trade-off. This product still keeps my makeup looking fresh all day long. I'm so happy with this product and honestly can't find a single thing to complain about. I was using our brand's all-nighter, but I accidentally picked up this product at the store instead, and honestly, I like it even better! I have combination skin, and the all-nighter used to leave my cheeks feeling dry, but this one doesn't have that problem at all. The staying power is absolutely perfect too. I've always been drawn to a luminous, glowing makeup look, whether it's my base or my lips. That's why I decided to try Urban Decay's setting spray for the first time! (Though it might be my first and last purchase, we'll see!) 1. First off, the staying power is absolutely incredible... During the pandemic when masks were everywhere, I was constantly using setting sprays. With my previous brand, no matter how thin I applied my foundation, powder, and setting spray, everything would transfer onto my mask. I tried every technique - primer, foundation, powder, color cosmetics, then setting spray - but it would still smudge. Urban Decay doesn't require any special technique at all to prevent transfer... The key is applying the setting spray twice - once right after foundation and again after all your color cosmetics. That's when you get flawless, all-day wear! Pro tip from makeup artists: Apply primer, sunscreen, foundation, then setting spray (let it dry), then add your eyeshadow and blush, and finish with a second coat of setting spray. This two-spray method keeps everything perfectly in place! If you only spray once, there might be minimal transfer, but it's so slight compared to other brands - you'd barely notice it. With two applications, your makeup stays so fresh that you'll only need to touch up your eyeliner and lips after eating! 2. Beyond just the base, this spray keeps everything locked in place - eyeshadow, blush, contour - everything holds for 10+ hours! (I haven't had a day longer than that to test further, but the staying power is genuinely impressive.) Only my eyeliner tends to fade slightly, but with a little technique, even that stays put. The color cosmetics maintain their intensity beautifully throughout the day. 3. I'm not a fan of matte finishes, so I bought several matte foundations during the early pandemic. But when I use this setting spray, even a matte foundation gets that gorgeous glow I love. I finally have the luminous, mask-proof base I've been dreaming of! The only downside is that it takes a bit longer to dry. When applying it twice - once after foundation and once after all your color cosmetics - you need to wait about 10 seconds between applications. I've adjusted my routine by applying the first spray and then gathering my other products while it sets. I'm not sure if all setting sprays dry this slowly, or if my previous brand just dried exceptionally fast. Since this is only my second setting spray ever, I can't really compare. If you're experiencing transfer issues, try these solutions: reduce the amount of foundation you're using, or apply the setting spray twice using the method described above!

While outdoor mask requirements have been lifted now, I did notice that when I used this before mask-wearing was common, my makeup definitely seemed to last longer when I applied the setting spray first. The price point is a bit steep, and personally I think the original formula works better for me than the glow version.

I have combination skin with blackhead and oil concerns, and I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay products! I use their setting spray, primer, and powder regularly. Most recently, I've been using the All Nighter Setting Spray. Here's my full review: - The scent has that signature Urban Decay fragrance, which is pleasant and aromatic - The spray disperses evenly and covers a wide area beautifully - The makeup definitely adheres well with excellent staying power, but here's the catch: it does transfer onto masks quite a bit (though the All Nighter formula transfers less, which is definitely noticeable) - Out of 20 potentially irritating ingredients, this contains 3, plus it's free from common allergens I highly recommend this product if you're searching for a hydrating makeup setting spray that keeps everything in place! I actually prefer this over the original all-night formula. After using the fixer, my face maintains that beautiful shine throughout the day, and I'm definitely going to keep repurchasing this. I don't have any complaints! The original all-night formula is still the crowd favorite right now, but I really hope this product gains popularity too so it doesn't get discontinued. I always finish by spritzing the fixer multiple times at the end and let it dry completely before moving on.
