This product applies like a dream and feels so hydrating. I saw it featured on a beauty platform and decided to give it a try, and I'm really impressed! Even though I have combination skin, it absorbs beautifully without feeling greasy or dry. It's exactly what I was looking for. The only minor inconvenience is that I need to use the spatula to scoop it out every time, which is a bit of a hassle. I've found a workaround though—I mix any leftover product with the spatula so I can use every last bit. It works great!

I tried the Hwahae sample first and then decided to buy it. For a brightening line, it's surprisingly hydrating, which I really appreciate. There's no irritation, and it genuinely helps with brightening, so that's a definite plus. I finished the first bottle and repurchased a second one. For the other details about what didn't work as well, please check the downsides section below. As someone with very dry skin, I found this a bit too dry for my needs. The moisturizing line has a lot of white residue mixed in, so it doesn't spread smoothly. It does absorb eventually, but the absorption isn't particularly impressive. Since I'm pregnant and looking for a gentle brightening cream that's safe to use, I'm using it despite the drawbacks. Once I have the baby and finish nursing, I'm planning to switch right away to a cream that works better for my skin without any concerns. This cream applies beautifully and feels gentle on the skin. It delivers the hydration your complexion needs during those dry autumn and winter months. Mixing it before application is a bit inconvenient, but the moisturizing feel makes it worth it.
