The pigment is beautifully subtle, so you don't need to worry about how much you're using—whether you apply it lightly or go bold, it works either way. I think this is perfect for beginners and students who are still learning their way around makeup. The color payoff is quite sheer, which might be a hit-or-miss depending on what you're looking for. Plus, the staying power is really short, so you'll need to keep it with you and touch it up throughout the day. You can apply it directly with the applicator onto your cheeks without having to dispense product or use any tools, and you'll get a really nice color deposit. I usually layer it 2 to 3 times to build up the color, and while this method can sometimes shift or peel depending on your base, you can fix that by applying it with a primed sponge instead.
