This product really locks everything in place! Even though it's not marketed as a long-wear formula, it easily holds for 12+ hours. I have pretty thin bangs so I didn't notice much difference, but my friend with thicker bangs absolutely loves it. It keeps everything perfectly in place even on those windy winter days! The spray nozzle on the bottle is a bit stiff, so the product comes out inconsistently - sometimes a lot, sometimes barely anything. If you use it as-is, it can look clumpy, honestly. I'd recommend switching to a finer mist sprayer from the drugstore instead! As for the breakouts on my forehead, I'm not sure if it's the product since my skin tends to be problematic anyway. Here's my pro tip: style your hair with a curling iron, lock it in place with this spray, then blow dry with hot air a few times and brush through. Seriously... it's incredible. My mom and I use this product together, and the hold is absolutely incredible! Just apply it to your roots and style your hair a bit, and it sets rock solid right away. It's clear why this is such a popular product—it really does perform differently! The hold is pretty strong, so I think it would work better on shorter hair than longer hair. The spray force and hold are pretty decent. When you spray from a distance, it applies more evenly without clumping. I'm not sure if it's just me, but since it's a liquid formula, by nighttime my hair gets sticky and clumps together easily, making it look like I haven't washed my hair.
