Since using this product, I've completely stopped using essences or serums between my toner and cream. Now my routine is simple: toner to prep my skin, a thin layer of cream, let it absorb, and then just this product. It's amazing because my skin stays moisturized without drying out, and I don't need to layer multiple products. It's so convenient and I really love it. Since it keeps skin hydrated through the next day, the formula itself feels quite sticky and heavy when you apply it. It is quite sticky and has a rich texture, so apply it right before bed and go straight to sleep. You won't notice any discomfort at all.

First off, compared to other stick products, this one has a decent amount of product. Plus, since it has a balm formula, it's really easy to apply smoothly or blend it out however you like. The downside is that I was hoping for that dewy, glossy finish when I apply it, but it felt a bit stiff and dry instead. Honestly, I've never experienced dryness even with balm products before, so I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one. By the way, this comes in two different sizes! The larger one is 20g. When it's partially melted, it doesn't feel dry at all, but once it's completely melted, I find myself reapplying it again and again. It's so thirsty for moisture! But when I layer it with an oil-based moisturizer or cream, it doesn't feel dry anymore, and that works great!

I bought this through home shopping and used it with cautious optimism. I have typical combination skin that tends toward dryness. At first, it looked oily and I worried it might clog my pores, so I applied it thinly just once. It felt a bit insufficient. But when I confirmed no breakouts the next day, I started cleansing thoroughly, applying a toner and lightweight soothing cream, then layering this product twice across my entire face. Now I genuinely feel it's more hydrating than most moisturizing creams and really calms my skin. The stick format is incredibly convenient to apply, and since it's almost solid in texture, it doesn't drip, travels easily, and feels completely hygienic. I don't even need to tap it in—just applying it gives me that dewy feeling. Every autumn and winter, no matter what hydrating cream I used, my face would feel tight and parched. Since using this, my skin doesn't feel tight at all and stays dewy throughout the day. Just remember to cleanse thoroughly before applying, as applying it to unwashed skin can clog pores and cause breakouts. Every year when dry fall and winter arrive, I'd spend so much money searching for the right moisturizer for my skin, and layering multiple products would clog my pores and cause problems. I wasted considerable time finding products suited to my skin type, but this feels like a true holy grail product for me. That said, it might not be ideal for summer use as it could trigger breakouts. Since it works so well for my sensitive, combination skin, I think it would suit most skin types except very oily skin. I rarely write reviews, but this product is so good I had to share. When applied thickly, I occasionally get a pimple or two. What's interesting is that even though it's oily, I don't get those tiny milia breakouts. When I used that other oil balm before, I had a milia explosion, but this feels more like a salve than an oil. There's no stuffy feeling either. The artificial fragrance might bother people sensitive to scent, and opinions will definitely be divided. I wish it came unscented, but since I'm not sensitive to fragrance, I'm satisfied. Besides the scent, I can't find any other drawbacks—I'm genuinely very happy using this. I prep my skin with Dongguk Pharmaceutical's Tecasol toner, apply Doctor G Red Blemish Soothing Cream thinly and let it absorb, then finish with this product. It's incredibly hydrating, and I really recommend this routine to everyone with combination skin. If you use it with thicker cream formulas, it might clog pores. With this balancing hydration and oil, one product is enough.
