I've been using it on and off because of that. When I apply it before makeup, it doesn't pill and gives such a dewy finish! Since I have combination skin, I need richer hydrating products during the harsh winter months. That's why this Dictionist foundation is absolutely perfect for me from spring through fall when the weather is milder. As I mentioned earlier, during the dry winter season, it doesn't provide enough moisture, which is a bit disappointing. That said, the fact that I can still use it during hot summer is definitely a plus.
