True to its name, this cleanser is incredibly creamy and smooth, gliding on effortlessly. The rich, luxurious lather is amazing, and the cleansing power is absolutely fantastic!!! I honestly can't think of anything I disliked about it. No irritation whatsoever, and I'm really happy with it!!! I have sensitive, atopic dermatitis-prone skin and this works great for me without any issues! It really helps with breakouts. The cleansing power doesn't feel particularly strong. This product isn't a weakly acidic cleanser—it's actually slightly alkaline to alkaline, which helps balance skin pH for people with naturally acidic skin or those who rely heavily on weakly acidic cleansers. It also contains a minimal amount of BHA, so it gently supports exfoliation and dead skin removal. I used to only use weakly acidic cleansers, but my skin improved noticeably after switching to this. Looking at the ingredient list, I'll be honest—it's not the most impressive. That said, I keep using it because of its benefits and the real results I see on my skin. I use this product at night and a weakly acidic cleanser in the morning. When I experimented with using only this product morning and night, or switching to just the weakly acidic cleanser, I could definitely feel the difference in my skin's condition. If you've been searching for skincare solutions, trying different products, and sticking with a weakly acidic cleanser because it's supposedly gentle—but your skin still feels like a mess—consider trying a slightly alkaline cleanser with a touch of BHA instead. Just don't go for anything too strong. Start with a gentler BHA formula. Also, try getting an affordable foaming cleanser net, add a little water, and create a rich lather for cleansing. It feels so soft and luxurious, and your skin gets thoroughly cleansed. Remember though, skin is completely individual—everyone's different. Figure out your specific skin type and condition before deciding what works for you. Don't experiment randomly with products on your skin, please. One more thing: on days when I wear sunscreen or makeup, I always do a two-step cleanse—first with an oil or balm, then follow up with this product. Hope this helps!

I really loved how fresh and clean my skin felt after washing. Hmm... they claim it has brightening effects, but I'm not so sure... if the cleansing is what they mean by brightening, it's probably just from removing dead skin cells that make your complexion look brighter... but actual brightening results? I have combination skin that's a bit oily and dry in different areas, but it's not sensitive. Since this product offers chemical exfoliation, I've been using it without any issues and have gone through more than three bottles. The gentle lather feels amazing, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed without being too harsh, and my skin stays nicely hydrated even after cleansing. Not really any major downsides, though if you have extremely oily skin, this might not be the best fit for you. Acnes is such a great product for sensitive, acne-prone skin that I found it gentle and non-irritating to use. I was really pleased with how well my skin tolerated it. The product claims to help with hydration and exfoliation, but I'm honestly not sure if it actually delivers on those promises. When I cleanse, it comes out as a thin, watery lather, and personally I'm not a fan of that texture. It just didn't work for me the way I hoped it would. Use just a tiny bit of water when activating this cleanser. If you add too much water, the lather becomes too thin and doesn't develop properly. You really need to work it in with some pressure to get the product to transform into a full, rich foam. Otherwise, it just clumps up in your hands without creating that nice lather.
