Perfect for summer! It applies smoothly without any sticky residue, delivering exactly the hydration you need. I can't even go outside after applying this in summer. I've tried rose water before, but this has such a strong, unpleasant smell that's even worse. It's absolutely terrible. I've never encountered a scent like this before. This product is gentle enough to use however you prefer—whether you're using it as a cleansing wipe or applying it as a toner mask. The lavender is wonderful because it combines skin-regenerating benefits with soothing properties, making it perfect for those times when your skin feels extra sensitive and needs some extra care. I apply it to a cotton pad and wipe my face, but my skin dries out faster than I expected. I'm definitely repurchasing this. For those who are used to artificial lavender scents, I'm curious how this fragrance will feel to them. It has a subtle, delicate herbal stem quality to it. It reminds me of that faint, soft scent you get when you pick flowers as a child and crush the leaves, so there's actually a green, plant-like quality to it. It doesn't smell like flowers in that typical way, haha. Since this product doesn't contain hydrating ingredients, I layer a hydrating toner or essence after using it. After cleansing, I soak a cotton pad with this and gently wipe my face to refine my skin texture and remove any lingering impurities. It's completely different from just splashing water and applying my basic skincare. I can really feel the soothing, calming effect it has on my skin. The price is steep. I bought it from an online duty-free shop, and honestly, if it weren't for the weight limit, I'd want to stock up on tons of it. Carrying liquid products through customs is such a hassle. They do make a spray version too. If you search around, you can find shops that sell soap-making and cosmetic ingredients online or at wholesale markets. They sell pure lavender water and rose water at 100 percent concentration. I've tried products from those places too, and they do have a fresher, cleaner scent. I got a sample and tried it out, and honestly, if I had the money, I'd want to stock up on this! The trick is not to just spray it directly on your face—spray it on a cotton pad and gently pat it on instead. Your skin texture transforms completely, it's amazing! The only reason I'm taking off one star is the scent—it's not my favorite at first. But the more I use it, the more I actually grow to love it. It just takes a little time to adjust, but once you do, this is absolutely a must-have product! Use it with a cotton pad—trust me!
