This is my first facial oil, and I have to say, it absorbs really quickly without feeling sticky at all. It has a pleasant nutty sesame oil scent. As for hydration, it's just okay for me. The night I apply it feels great, but the next morning when I do my makeup and go about my day, I notice dry patches coming back... I'm honestly not sure if it helps with breakouts yet. I think I'm still getting the hang of how to use oils properly, so I'll need to give it more time to really tell. I put just one drop on my forehead and let it absorb, and then I got six pimples that turned into painful breakouts... Did I use too much? Now I'm only applying one tiny drop across my whole face. I picked this up for winter and the hydration really lasts. While results can vary depending on your skin type, it worked wonderfully for me even though my skin tends to be on the dry side. I think oil products like this are absolutely essential during the colder months! Since there's no fragrance added, the natural oil scent comes through a bit strong. If you're sensitive to scents, just keep that in mind when deciding if this is right for you. I use the dropper to apply one or two drops directly onto my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin, then gently massage it in. I got a recommendation at the store and decided to try it, and I'm really happy with it. The dropper makes it so easy to control how much product I use, and right after applying it, my skin looks so dewy and radiant. I pulled an all-nighter studying, washed my face the next morning, applied this, and went to school. I must have gotten some good sleep because my skin looked noticeably better. I'm loving the results. If you have oily skin, use just a little bit because it can make your face feel slick. The bottle is on the smaller side, so I'm being careful with how much I use. It has a distinctive scent, so you might want to pair it with fragrance-free base products instead. Because of the oil formula, it can be tricky to apply directly. What works better for me is squeezing some emulsion onto my hand first, then mixing a few drops of this into it before applying. My hands do feel a bit sticky after application. I usually just dry my hair with the same hand while it's still damp, and while my hair does seem to feel smoother, that might just be wishful thinking on my part.

But then I noticed my little breakouts started clearing up, so I've kept using it. I'm really happy with how gentle and pure the formula is. After two weeks of use, it doesn't feel hydrating on the surface. I'm using it mainly to help with breakouts, but if you want it for moisture, you'd probably need to use quite a bit. The price is also a bit steep. I've heard that rosehip oil shouldn't be used during the day, but I'm not sure what's actually true about that.
