This cool, lukewarm-toned rosy pink shade is so easy to work with. It's a bit tricky to use as a base lip product though. It feels so smooth and silky... Even during winter when my lips get dry and cracked, it glides on beautifully and leaves them feeling incredibly soft A little bit gets stuck around the lip opening, and while it's supposed to be peach-toned, it doesn't seem to have that deeper undertone I was hoping for - eo***Da khô06/10/2023 (UTC+0)
I saw the reviews above and decided to buy it anyway... I'm so disappointed. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it looked like such a pretty cool-toned pink. But when I actually applied it to my face, it came out looking like a warm beige shade that would suit warm undertones instead. Since I have cool undertones, it just doesn't work for me. Total miss. This isn't pink at all. When I apply it, it turns into a completely different color. I really don't understand why it was made this way. I have a cool undertone with deep richness, and this shade looks amazing whenever I wear cooler-toned outfits! The staying power is shorter than I'd like. When I layer it over a moisturizing lip product, the formula tends to separate and look patchy. It looks way more expensive than the price tag. [ Formula ] Since it's a velvet tint, the texture is velvet-based, but honestly it wasn't for me. It's this awkward in-between that's neither fully matte nor glossy, which feels off. [ Price ] Twenty thousand won feels a bit steep for this product.

For context, I purchased the Dew Velvet in Rose Peach from the same brand and also bought the Shoe Velvet in Peach as a gift for my friend. After hearing my friend's feedback on the product, I'd recommend the Dew Velvet over the Shoe Velvet. Let me break down the reasons by comparing them below! First, the Shoe Velvet is a matte tint that really emphasizes that ultra-powdery, velvety finish. The Dew Velvet has a watery formula when you apply it, while the Shoe Velvet shows off its matte quality right from the start. As for the color, I absolutely love it. It's not a harsh cool-toned pink, but rather a subtle cool-toned pink feeling. It's a slightly toned-down pink that's neither too intense nor neon, so my friend is thrilled! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with cool undertones. However, since it's a matte tint, you need to be careful if you want it to last longer. It does transfer, which is expected. And it can feel drying. While the Dew Velvet is also drying, it adheres beautifully to your lips and has excellent staying power as long as you don't get water on it, with minimal transfer. In comparison, the Shoe Velvet feels a bit disappointing in these areas. To sum it up, I'd recommend the Dew Velvet over the Shoe Velvet!
