I have specific preferences when it comes to cushion foundations. First, the base color absolutely must be pink! When applied to my face, I want a true, complete cool-toned pink with zero beige, yellow, white, or gray undertones. Second, the ingredients matter - I need 4 or fewer combined cautionary ingredients from the 20 standard ones plus 2 allergen warnings. Third, fragrance - I prefer either unscented or very subtle scents. Even the best fragrance is a dealbreaker if it's too strong, and I can't use it if there's that typical oily cushion smell, even if it's unscented. Fourth, texture, coverage, and brightness - I love products with minimal oil content that feel incredibly hydrated and dewy. I need medium or higher coverage, and brightness ranging from my natural shade 13 to bright 21 works perfectly. Fifth, the compact case design - the prettier and more portable, the better. Sixth, reasonable pricing - I prefer full size plus refill for 28,000-32,000 won, or a single compact for 15,000-18,000 won. I'm someone who can't use a product if even one of these criteria isn't met. Looking at this cushion against my standards: First, the shade is disappointing - that goes in the cons. Second, it passes because only 3 cautionary ingredients appear in the 20-ingredient list. Third, the fragrance is also disappointing - another con. Fourth, regarding texture, coverage, and brightness - I mentioned loving minimal oil with that plump hydration, but this seems to have a semi-matte finish. However, it does have that low-oil quality so it's acceptable. The coverage is medium or higher, and the brightness seems to be around shade 19 to bright 21, which matches my skin. Fifth, looking at the photos, the mirror case with the brand name embossed on the front looks luxurious and beautiful - this passes. Sixth, I purchased the full size with a mini cushion together online for 16,100 won, which is incredibly reasonable - this passes. The shade and fragrance are quite disappointing, and the case is somewhat underwhelming. Since my skin wasn't cooperating, I couldn't upload a face swatch photo, so I only posted arm swatches and cushion photos instead. The arm swatch definitely looked pink, but when I applied it to my face, it had an ivory or whitish-pink tone - that's why I deducted one star. The herbal and lavender fragrance comes through quite strongly. Sometimes it's fine, but other times it's so intense I don't even want to smell it. After continuous exposure, I just couldn't tolerate it anymore - that's another star deducted. Regarding the case - while I mentioned the mirror case looks luxurious and pretty, the downside is that it scratches easily, so it gets messy just carrying it around. I either have to keep it in the cushion box or constantly wipe the case clean, which is inconvenient. Because the shade and fragrance disappointed me so much, I'm giving it 3 stars and won't be repurchasing.

It seems like it would be a perfect match if I used shade 22 instead. It doesn't feel particularly drying, but it's not moisturizing either, so there's something in-between about the texture. The application is smooth, and the finish, pore coverage, and redness correction all work pretty well. Glazed finish! True to its name, it has that glazed look. How so? * Coverage: To be honest, the coverage is pretty minimal. I use it after my base makeup, but I'm obsessed with the glow it gives me. This cushion really deserves to be called a "glow cushion" because it creates such a beautiful luminous finish on the face. * Longevity: Since I have oily skin, my makeup usually fades quickly and my complexion gets darker and duller as the day goes on. What I love about this product is that it barely darkens at all, so it keeps that fresh look going. * Breakouts and irritation: I don't usually wear much makeup, but when I do use this, I do get some breakouts. That said, since it's not too heavy or oily, at least I'm not dealing with inflamed spots, which is a relief. The only thing is that this product has a pretty white tone, so if you apply too much, you'll end up looking ghostly pale. You really need to be careful with how much you use and blend it well. Instead of spreading it all over my face, I focus on applying it to the areas that need that glow—my cheekbones, forehead, and nose—and blend it in carefully. I have dry skin, and shade 19 is perfect for me! No matter what I tried before, everything either looked patchy or caused darkening, and I was never happy with how my complexion looked. I bounced between cushions for ages, but this one finally made me settle down! Shade 19 isn't too light—it gives you this naturally luminous, dewy finish. When I apply a hydrating sunscreen first and then layer this cushion on top, my skin looks absolutely gorgeous. It has this perfect balance of looking soft and moisturized while still feeling fresh. It honestly makes my skin look like I naturally have a great complexion, and out of all the glow cushions I've tried, this one has the best coverage! I haven't noticed any darkening either. For about 5 to 6 hours, I didn't need any touch-ups at all. When I finally did need to refresh my makeup later in the day, I could just tap the cushion on top without any other steps—super convenient! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with dry or combination skin. I really hope this cushion stays in production forever! I don't really have any complaints. I'm very satisfied with it! Make sure to apply a hydrating sunscreen first, and then layer this cushion right on top!
