I'm really happy using this product set. It's a hydrating toner with great ingredients that I'm enjoying. I've used about three-quarters of it, so this is my honest review. My brother keeps trying to steal it from me because he loves it so much. My family uses it regularly and nobody has had any issues with it. I'd definitely repurchase it, and I wish they'd come out with a larger size. It has a Lemona-like scent, probably because it contains lemon, and it actually works. I have some congestion-prone acne and this really helps calm it down. For the price and quality of the ingredients, I'm completely satisfied. The only thing is there's honestly nothing disappointing about it. I'm using it happily. I'm almost done with it, so once I finish the mist bottle, I'm planning to refill it to carry around with me. Since it's the transitional season right now, I'd definitely recommend it.

I wanted to give it five stars, but I'm deducting one because the packaging is really inconvenient—the product comes out in such tiny amounts that it's frustrating (I actually had to cut the container open with a knife to get it out!). Aside from the packaging issue, the formula itself feels really clean and refined. I purchased it specifically for its great ingredients, and I'd recommend it for oily and combination skin types. Personally, this is one of my favorite products from the BH Story line—I've used their essence the most. After using one full bottle (as of December 11, 2020), I'm upgrading my rating from three stars to five stars. It's wonderful as a mask treatment for oily skin, especially on the nose during winter. When I apply it to oily areas using a sponge-type cotton pad, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and actually helps balance oil and moisture really well. Compared to products like CosRX Clarifying Toner or various AHA/BHA treatments, this one doesn't irritate my skin. While those other products definitely remove excess oil, they feel too harsh to use in winter (they make my nose flaky). This toner, on the other hand, doesn't dry out easily when I use it as a mask, feels gentle, and effectively removes excess oil without any irritation. I've been using it on oily areas during spring and winter, and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this as an exfoliating toner. Note: It may be too drying for sensitive or dry skin types. Since this is an exfoliating toner, it does feel a bit irritating. I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin. Personally, my cheeks are dry and react to chemical products, so I only use it on my oily nose. I've been using this water-based toner as an exfoliating toner, and I'm really happy with it. The scent is fresh and invigorating, which I love. I tried it once before and liked it so much that I restocked and now I'm working through my supply. The price is great, and I appreciate that I can use it without worrying about breaking the bank. The cap requires twisting to open, which is a bit inconvenient.

The mist sprays out really fine and even, almost like a gentle mist. You can also pour it into your hand if you prefer. It has a nice orange scent that comes through subtly. The texture is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect as a summer hydrating toner or just for refreshing and balancing your skin throughout the day. What I absolutely love is how affordable it is without compromising on the ingredient quality—that's a real win! The hydrating power isn't as strong as I'd hoped. The bottle design is a bit awkward to use. Overall, the product performance doesn't quite live up to expectations, which is disappointing. I'd only recommend this to someone specifically looking for an affordable, lightweight toner.
