The gel doesn't leave residue or sit on top of the skin—it actually delivers on what a mask should do. After using it, my skin feels incredibly firm and the heat sensation completely disappears. Since it contains camellia oil, I noticed something amazing: while regular sheet masks hydrate but usually need a cream or oil layered on top, this mask alone kept my face glowing for hours. I'm definitely buying this again before those exhausting days hit. After using the mask, I checked the essence inside and honestly, there wasn't as much as I expected. Usually these are pretty saturated, so I was a bit disappointed. I'm not sure if it's because it's a gel mask, but I felt like it could have had more. Here's a tip that actually works: after using toner to prep your skin, apply eye cream generously around the eye area and smooth it out well before putting on the mask. When you remove the mask, your whole face looks so much brighter. The thing is, your face becomes so radiant that your eyes can look a bit dull by comparison, so this little trick really helps balance everything out!

I can't really speak to the glow factor - it mainly just feels like it's hydrating my skin. Since it's winter and my skin is so dry, the results were pretty underwhelming. I think it would work better to refrigerate it and use it during summer for that cooling effect. After using this mask, my face has a gorgeous glow for a couple of days! This is honestly the only face mask from this brand that I keep coming back to. The price is a bit disappointing, so I tend to wait for sales to stock up and use it.

It's almost like the after-shower look! It's packed with moisture but absorbs quickly, so it doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable. If I had to point out a tiny difference, it's just slightly more nourishing than the after-shower version? But honestly, the difference is barely noticeable. It feels just as refreshing and hydrating! That's why I love that it works great for oily skin and summer use without feeling heavy. Since it's a hydrogel, the cooling effect stays nice until you peel it off. Because of how hydrogels work, the ingredients are actually contained in the sheet and dissolve out gradually. So when you apply it or remove it, the fit isn't really that different from a regular sheet mask—I'm sure most of you already know this! But I'm mentioning it just in case newcomers might get confused about it. I wasn't looking for a cream pack or gel pack feeling from this hydrogel mask, and if you want even more hydration than this, then using a regular sheet mask with hydrating essence would be the right choice, right? What I really wish was different is the fragrance and colorant. I can understand phenoxyethanol as a preservative for cost reasons, but do we really need the colorant? It seems unnecessary. Just like with the after-shower look, after using a hydrating mask, it's great to seal in the moisture by finishing with a light layer of emulsion or cream! Face in Face's hydrogel mask is honestly the best in their lineup, and I'm puzzled why it isn't more popular. It's absolutely wonderful for dry and sensitive skin types. Hydrogel products tend to dry out and flake off pretty quickly by nature, but that's really the only downside. I'll definitely keep using it though.
