When I compare this to the Ceramide Shot Ampoule from the same brand, the Ceramide Shot has a lot of hydration but feels sticky when applied, whereas the Peptide Shot has a more bouncy, elastic feel that I actually prefer. That said, I honestly don't notice any real improvement in skin firmness or elasticity. If a single ampoule could actually deliver that kind of result, dermatologists would be out of business. Despite that, I didn't find any downsides. There was no irritation at all. I do have sensitive skin, but this didn't feel drying whatsoever. If anything, the bouncy texture and the unique appearance are actually pretty appealing. It's not like it has amazing benefits, but there really aren't any negatives to it.
