I've been using this foundation for five years straight, and I honestly can't find a single thing to complain about—from the coverage to how beautifully it adheres to my skin. My complexion looks absolutely radiant with just the right amount of luminosity, and I'm totally satisfied. I wear shade 21, and it matches my skin tone perfectly! I haven't experienced any darkening or oxidation, and it seems to work wonderfully for dry skin types like mine. Everything about it is great, but there is a distinctive foundation scent that comes through when you're wearing it. If you have sensitive skin or are particular about fragrance, this might be something that bothers you. This foundation is absolutely flawless on my oily skin - no patchy spots or lifting whatsoever. It's genuinely my favorite foundation! The packaging is disappointing. This foundation doesn't have that heavy, cakey feeling you usually get from MAC! It applies beautifully thin and feels way more hydrating than expected! This is my third MAC foundation, and compared to my previous ones, it's incredibly hydrating and gives my skin such a healthy, radiant appearance. For an imported foundation, the scent isn't overpowering at all, and it applies beautifully. The formula doesn't cling to my tools, and it works perfectly whether I use a brush, spatula, or sponge. Since the texture is on the lighter side, I can layer it multiple times without that heavy, cakey feeling. I loved my MAC cushion in shade N18, so I bought the same shade in this foundation, but it's way too dark for me. Based on how my skin looks, I'd say I'm more of a shade 19 or 20. If you have fair skin, I'd really recommend going with a lighter shade than you think you need. Since this has a dewy finish, the color actually looks even darker by lunchtime.

When I measure my skin pigmentation, I have a lot of yellow and red undertones, with a complexion that's yellowish, dark, and has a reddish cast (not redness from sensitivity, but more of a warm, smoky undertone). I've been using MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation, but all the shades lean too yellow for me, which was disappointing. This product has much less yellow in it compared to other MAC foundations. I first heard about this new dewy foundation from MAC and got curious, so I checked out a live shopping stream on Naver. I fell in love with how it applies so smoothly and ended up buying it. It's definitely silky and incredibly smooth. The glow isn't that shiny, wet look, but rather a natural, healthy radiance. Plus, even though it's a glow foundation, it doesn't look too dewy, and the lasting power and coverage are pretty solid, so I'm really happy with it. 1. Since it's a glow foundation, the pore coverage is a bit limited, and as time goes on, oils do come through, which can make pores more visible with that shine. That said, it's way better than other dewy foundations, and since I have naturally oily skin, even when I use matte cushions or foundations, I get some oil coming through anyway. Considering that, this one actually doesn't get too shiny, so I'd say it performs well. 2. The shade is a bit too light for me. When I apply a lot of the N shade alone, it looks too pale, so I'm wondering if I should have gone with N12 instead. But when I mix it with Estée Lauder's cool-toned cream (3C0), it balances out the tone, brightness, lasting power, coverage, and oil control perfectly. That's how I've been using it lately. The first photo was taken with a Galaxy S22 Plus, and the second photo was taken with an iPhone 12 Mini. Please keep in mind that my face is darker, more yellow, and more reddish than the inside of my arm, so take that into consideration when looking at these photos.
