This lipstick has a beautiful matte finish with minimal flaking and a subtle blurring effect. The color is absolutely stunning and truly one-of-a-kind. Honestly, whenever I wear this shade, everyone around me asks what lipstick I'm using! I especially recommend it for anyone with cool undertones, especially during the winter months. The staying power doesn't quite match the price point, which is a bit disappointing. It does fade pretty quickly when you eat or drink. That said, the color is so gorgeous that I can't bring myself to stop wearing it! If you have a cool, deep skin tone, you absolutely need to grab this one. The color is absolutely perfect for you. If you have a yellow or cool undertone, or if you naturally have purple-toned lips, this shade might appear darker on you. It doesn't work well on its own. This is my go-to winter essential! I've tried so many tints, but nothing compares to this one. I'm already on my third tube! When I layer it with other products, it seems to fade a bit more easily than I'd like. This lip color is absolutely perfect for fall and winter! With just one application, it's totally wearable for everyday looks, and the blending is fantastic! The more you layer it, the deeper and richer the color becomes—it's ideal for the cooler seasons. Just so you know, I'm not a fan of glossy lips or highly pigmented formulas, so keep that in mind! As someone with sensitive lips, I noticed this contains Red No. 202 in the ingredients, which made the affected areas feel dry and irritated on days when my lips weren't in great condition. On the bright side, while this isn't a super pigmented product, that actually works in my favor! If you apply it once and blend it out, you can create an ombré lip effect, then apply a second layer on the inner lip for a really pretty finish. The color is such a perfect match for me that I've even started using it as a cheek tint sometimes!

When I use it as a lip accent, it looks stunning. The design is gorgeous, the color is beautiful, and you get such a generous amount that it feels like the perfect all-in-one tint. Since it has a matte finish, it does emphasize fine lines a bit. The formula also sets pretty quickly, so you'll need to touch it up fairly often. Also, my tint's cap separated from the main body, so I can't carry it around with me. Just be careful if you're taking yours on the go.

I spotted this product on the recommended color list, so I decided to give it a try. Honestly, the shade is like grape skin - a true deep purple! It's quite different from what I expected in the recommendation, which threw me off a bit. But I have to say, the color itself is absolutely gorgeous. I'm not sure where to put this feedback, but here goes. When I got my color analysis, the consultant mentioned that I have a lot of visible veins on my lips with a bluish tone. Whenever I wear anything too pink or purple, I literally look unwell, if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, this product didn't escape that issue either, which makes sense since it's a pure purple lipstick. These days I'm just using the tiniest amount by dabbing it on, but honestly, I'm still going to keep using it forever. So what I've been doing is covering up those blue veins on my lips first before applying this, and that works so much better. I tried out the sample and swatched it on the back of my left hand at the top. The color is incredibly deep and rich - it's such a bold burgundy shade that I applied it with a light hand to tone it down. The result is just the right amount of intensity for me. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the staying power is fantastic. With MAC lipsticks, whether it's the full size or a sample, I always apply their lip primer beforehand. But even with the primer on, this one still emphasizes fine lines a bit and feels quite drying on the lips.
