My complexion looks brighter and more natural with this product, and I absolutely love that it has sunscreen protection built in. It spreads evenly across my skin and feels so lightweight. You know MAC, right? Unlike other bases, it has little beads inside so it absolutely never hardens! I mainly apply it just around my nose and cheeks, and honestly, on days when I use this, my makeup holds up so much better and my skin has this gorgeous luminous glow! The downside is that it's a bit too oily for my liking. I'm absolutely thrilled with how this evens out my complexion and gives my skin such a bright, luminous appearance! I bought this thinking it would be a pore-covering primer, but it doesn't completely cover pores the way I expected. That said, when I apply this and layer foundation or cushion on top, my skin gets this gorgeous luminous glow that makes it look like light is coming from within! In the photo below, I applied this primer and then added just a tiny bit of very lightweight foundation, and you can see how it softly blurs pores while giving that beautiful shine. In person, the glow is really noticeable, though it doesn't show up as well in photos. I purchased this thinking it was a primer like Banila Co's, so I was a bit surprised at first. This product feels beautifully hydrating and moisturizing. That said, it's not completely irritation-free, though I haven't experienced any breakouts or sensitivity issues from using it. There is some irritation when I use this. This is my favorite primer! It doesn't feel heavy or leave a coating on my skin, and it absorbs beautifully into my complexion like it's meant to be there. The texture is a bit thicker compared to other primers, but it's definitely not watery. Sometimes I noticed the makeup would shift slightly and feel a bit patchy, but honestly, if you prep your skin properly with a good skincare routine beforehand, it's really not an issue.
