If you hate sticky or greasy feelings, I'd definitely recommend this. Personally, I love the scent of this styling product so much that I use it all the time with those musk and cotton floral notes. The redesigned packaging looks so much prettier and more sophisticated than the old version. It works wonderfully for styling. For guys with permed hair, just 4 to 5 pumps gives you plenty of nourishment and volume that you'll definitely notice. There's really nothing to complain about. This is a review of Mise-en-Scène Perfect Styling Serum 80ml. I have thick hair overall, but my strands are thin and fine in the middle, so even after using a flat iron in the morning, my hair droops and curls fall flat well before evening. I have long hair with a weak scalp that tends to get oily. I was looking for a new product because hair products with too much oil weight get clumpy quickly, while lightweight creams or serums don't provide enough styling hold and feel insufficient. That's when I decided to try Mise-en-Scène Perfect Styling Serum, and I'm so satisfied that I'm leaving this review. I've already finished one bottle and barely have any left in my second one. Overall Impression Mise-en-Scène Perfect Styling Serum not only keeps your hairstyle in place after using a flat iron but also prevents damage from blow-drying and heat styling beforehand, which improves your overall hair condition and helps prevent more serious damage. It finishes with a refreshing feel even in summer, leaving hair light and airy. During dry spring and fall seasons, if I layer it twice, my hair shines all day and holds well. On slightly humid days, the rose scent helps me forget about the stuffiness, and it seems useful for managing flyaways too. Formula and Feel Even though it contains oils extracted from seven natural ingredients—argan, coconut, camellia seed, marula seed, olive, apricot seed, and jojoba oil—it has a medium-viscosity formula that's neither too sticky nor too light, packed with nourishment. Because the moisture and oil are balanced just right, it tames rough, split ends while keeping hair from getting drier. Even though I felt plenty of oil, my hair felt light after use with no heaviness. My hair doesn't clump together or get weighed down. Since I have long hair, on busy mornings I usually blow-dry quickly with a strong, hot dryer. After shampooing, while my hair still has moisture, I apply it all over first and then blow-dry, and my ends and color-damaged areas definitely didn't get worse. Applying it before blow-drying calms my hair down, and flyaways are controlled in the first pass, which helps with styling. Then I lightly apply it a second time to the ends before styling after blow-drying. After it's fully absorbed, I apply it a third time very lightly after flat ironing to finish, and I'm satisfied because there's less heat damage, and most importantly, my curls and straight styles last longer while having a subtle shine that makes my hair look so much better. Since I apply it three times and color my hair every one or two months, I use hair essence products generously, and Mise-en-Scène Perfect Styling Serum absorbs beautifully even when applied multiple times in small amounts without looking clumpy or greasy, so I can maintain a fresh feeling all day. It seems more effective to apply it in steps with smaller amounts rather than applying a lot at once. Fragrance It has a feminine scent with a subtle rose fragrance and slightly powdery musk blended appropriately. The scent isn't strong, so there's no resistance to using it. Even in summer when humidity makes your whole body feel sticky, my hair smelled great. Plus, the fragrance lasts well, so without spraying separate mist or perfume, I could enjoy a subtle, feminine scent until evening, which made me feel good. The only thing I wish for is that there were larger sizes or refill products available. People with long hair use this up quickly! Rather than applying a large amount all at once just before styling, it's better to apply it lightly in the first step after shampooing and towel-drying, avoiding the scalp area, then blow-dry to prevent damage. Apply it lightly once more before flat ironing and style to prevent heat damage. After flat ironing, use a tiny amount to finish by sweeping it through, and even if you just use what's left on your hands to gently smooth down your front pieces, it won't get clumpy and will look neat.
