Most collagen ampoules list purified water as the first ingredient, but this product actually has collagen extract listed first, which really gave me confidence. I'm already a fan of Witch's Factory cleansing foam, and this brand seems to be a go-to for skincare essentials. My previous toner and emulsion from another brand were a bit drying, but these are different. There's a slight ginseng-like scent to it, and honestly, the fragrance isn't bad to me personally. But I noticed there are quite a few fragrance ingredients in the formula, which made me a bit concerned. The absorption is a bit slow, but if you give it enough time, that sticky feeling disappears and it works wonderfully. The essence has a yogurt-like color and feels quite rich and luxurious. Even a small amount gives you that satisfying coverage feeling. While collagen won't absorb into the skin, when you apply it, you definitely get that plumping, firmer effect on the surface, almost like a protective coating. The price is on the higher side, but the product quality really delivers. Usually with essences and ampoules, the more you apply, the better the results. But with this one, when I layered it too much, it felt suffocating and sticky, which wasn't great. It absorbed quickly and felt lightweight without any stickiness, which was really impressive. I'm not sure if it contains red ginseng or regular ginseng, but the serum had a pretty strong scent.
