If you love red tones, I absolutely recommend this product! The price is great and it fits perfectly in your makeup pouch. If red shades aren't your thing, I wouldn't suggest buying this. The color payoff is more vibrant than expected! This particular shade leans a bit bold for my taste, so I'd especially recommend it to cool-toned beauties who love true pinks and lighter reds. Just be careful when closing and storing it. I left mine in my bag, and once the cap gets stuck, there's no saving it. While that does mean you won't worry about it falling off during normal use, I actually lost one because of this issue. The cap gets so stuck that you basically can't remove it without breaking it. Perfect for everyday wear. I've been using this product for about two weeks now, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how the shade isn't as intense as I expected. It has the same moisturizing feel as a regular lip balm with a subtle hint of color, so it works perfectly as a pre-makeup lip treatment or to add a touch of vitality to a bare face. You do need to apply it over 10 times to get a more noticeable color payoff, and one or two applications won't make much of a difference. For a bare face, I found that applying it 3-4 times gives just the right amount of moisture and radiance! When I used it as a blush, the softly tinted finish looked absolutely beautiful. I'm a bit concerned that the design is quite similar to a well-known brand. This is the deepest shade in the lip balm collection. I love that even though it's a lip balm, it gives such a natural, beautiful red tint. It works perfectly on its own without needing anything else. I wish the ingredient list was a bit more impressive, and the amount feels a little skimpy. I know that's typical for lip balms, but I'd really love if there was more product.
