This is definitely a cool-toned shade. It's perfect for summer, and when you apply it, you look absolutely radiant and fresh. It doesn't apply smoothly. I'm not sure if it's just my product, but the color doesn't seem to build up well...

The lavender pink tone applies beautifully with such a gorgeous color payoff. I absolutely love these shades even though I have a deep warm undertone. (These are the colors I reach for when my cool tone preference kicks in.) The shade works wonderfully across the spectrum, from deep undertones to light and medium cool tones. Even the glitter has no warm-toned gold shimmer mixed in. When you layer it multiple times, the color builds up and the pigmentation becomes more defined. However, since it doesn't deliver an intensely dark finish, I'd definitely recommend it for beginners too. The highlighters in this 16 Magazine collection don't have much glow to them. Color payoff: The color payoff isn't incredibly intense, but I think it's just right for someone new to eyeshadow! In my opinion, if these shades had stronger pigmentation, they'd lose their own unique charm! Value for money: My undertone came back as cool winter, and since bright shades suit me, this was my first cool-toned palette purchase. I grabbed it first because I can use the blush and highlighter from it too! The blush is so smooth and applies beautifully—way prettier than I expected. I'm really happy with it! Color combinations: When there are too many shades, it gets confusing to mix and match, but this palette has just the right amount so you can simply apply them in order. I absolutely love shimmer, so I'm thrilled that there are larger pearl particles in the shades! Staying power: The instructions say to apply the second shade from the top four colors all over the lid, but since it has shimmer, the particles tend to shift around a bit. That was a little annoying! The other shades don't stick to the lid super firmly either, but they're not flying off everywhere, so it was fine for me. Highlighter: The shadow that's meant to work as a highlighter has pretty large pearl particles that don't blend together smoothly, so it might not be for everyone's taste! Most highlighters have a fine, silky satin finish, but this one has a more dramatic look with distinct, chunky pearls. I personally love big shimmer particles, but it's worth keeping in mind! The color payoff was absolutely amazing! It applied so smoothly and blended beautifully with other shades too! This is a genuinely cool-toned palette with no warm hues or gold shimmer. I think it would look absolutely stunning on anyone with a cool, light skin tone who loves lavender shades, especially during summer. The first shade in the top left is gorgeous—it features a lavender-shimmer base with bright lemon-colored glitter that sparkles beautifully. It has such a fresh, crisp feel. The entire palette has such well-balanced cool tones that I find myself reaching for every single shade. There's not a single color I skip or avoid. I'm not usually a fan of matte finishes, so I'm a tiny bit disappointed with the second shade in the top row, but since the shimmer is more of a silver tone rather than gold, I'm still pretty happy with it overall. The colors are truly beautiful, but the application isn't the best. The formula tends to clump a bit and there's quite a bit of fallout. That said, because the shades are so pretty, I'm giving it five stars. The shade in the bottom right seems designed as a highlighter, but the shimmer is so prominent that it feels too intense for that purpose. I'd recommend using it as a pop of color on your eyelid instead.

The glitter particles on the bottom shade are way too chunky. Honestly, I would have preferred if they'd included an extra blush instead. As someone who isn't a fan of opal pearl finishes, I was disappointed. Plus, there's a bit of clumping with the formula.
