The scent seems really nice (though of course it varies from person to person), and I love that the shade works so well for my skin tone I haven't found any downsides yet, but I'm sure I'll discover more as I use it longer

I want to mention that this has a deep undertone, and I'm not entirely sure whether it falls into the vivid or bright category, so I'll share my full review with you! The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's pink with just a hint of crimson mixed in, and there's a subtle white cast that gives it a slightly luminous feel. When I apply it to my lips, even though it has that white undertone, it looks fresh and radiant on me! It applies smoothly and softly. This is definitely a matte lipstick through and through! The moment you apply it, it goes on with that powdery, velvety texture. While it applies smoothly, it doesn't cover the fine lines and creases on my lips evenly. I have to check each time to make sure everything is covered, and then manually blend in the spots that didn't get enough product. It's way too dry. Like I mentioned, it feels like you're applying powder. It's like putting on a lipstick made of really dry, clumpy powder. Even after I exfoliate my lips completely before applying, the flakiness comes right back. It's frustrating! The staying power is disappointing. After a little while, the color fades from the center of my lips while the outline stays put, or it smudges too easily. The adhesion just isn't there, and that's a real letdown. If someone asked me to repurchase this, honestly I'd rather look for a similar shade from one of the many better matte lipsticks out there!

No matter how much I blend it out or rub it in with my fingers, it just doesn't grip the lips well. If the creasing bothers you, try applying a tiny bit of lip balm first before putting on the lipstick - it helps minimize the settling.
