It has a bit of an oily feel, and I'd definitely recommend it for anyone just starting out with retinol!

If you have really oily skin, you might find it a bit too rich to use as a serum and then layer a cream on top. The oil content could feel heavy for that routine!

The color is a classic yellow, just as you'd expect from a retinol product, and the texture sits right in the middle—it's not watery, but it's not as thick and concentrated as a traditional ampoule either. Since retinol is such a must-have ingredient these days, I've been using it mainly as an evening treatment. What I really appreciate is that it still delivers moisture, so it feels comfortable to apply even in dry weather. Plus, it contains brightening ingredients, and after consistent use, my skin looks noticeably more radiant and my makeup applies beautifully the next day. I even applied it a couple of extra times to my nose for pore care, and I noticed it helped balance my skin's oil and moisture levels, which meant fewer whiteheads—I'm really happy about that. And the best part is that I haven't experienced any major breakouts.

While I didn't have any serious breakouts, I did notice the occasional small blemish popping up here and there. When that happened, I'd take a break and use it less frequently, and my skin would bounce back to normal.
