The color is a classic yellow, just as you'd expect from a retinol product, and the texture sits right in the middle—it's not watery, but it's not as thick and concentrated as a traditional ampoule either. Since retinol is such a must-have ingredient these days, I've been using it mainly as an evening treatment. What I really appreciate is that it still delivers moisture, so it feels comfortable to apply even in dry weather. Plus, it contains brightening ingredients, and after consistent use, my skin looks noticeably more radiant and my makeup applies beautifully the next day. I even applied it a couple of extra times to my nose for pore care, and I noticed it helped balance my skin's oil and moisture levels, which meant fewer whiteheads—I'm really happy about that. And the best part is that I haven't experienced any major breakouts. While I didn't have any serious breakouts, I did notice the occasional small blemish popping up here and there. This product seems to have a high retinol content. I purchased it specifically to address wrinkles on my neck. Since I haven't used it for long, I can't really speak to whether it improves firmness. While the design is sleek and pretty, it's slightly heavy to pack for travel, so putting it in a pouch feels like a hassle. That said, I do wonder if they specifically chose glass because of the retinol ingredient! It's best not to use this together with other potentially irritating products. I tried that Goodal vitamin serum before, but it made my skin feel irritated and caused breakouts, so I stopped using Goodal products. But this one? I'm definitely going to keep using it! There's really nothing disappointing about it, and since Olive Young has sales pretty often, the price seems really reasonable too!
