This product gives you that gorgeous dewy glow when you apply makeup over it. I really recommend it! The bakuchiol ampoule is so hydrating and really delivers on brightening results! Using it as a complete set seems to work even better. I'm using the bakuchiol ampoule set, but the ampoule runs out quickly before I finish the toner and cream. I was already planning to buy bakuchiol as a standalone ingredient. There are options from Paula's Choice and Cosrx, and there are also formulations combined with retinol (Paula's Choice is well-known for this, and I noticed Mamonde has been promoting it heavily lately. However, Mamonde's Primera line gives me such irritation when I use Amorepacific products that my face feels completely reactive...). So I was torn about which brand to choose (The Ordinary doesn't carry bakuchiol, which was the most affordable option... sigh). I got the chance to try the 23% version, and I'm really loving the lightweight, water-like texture and how quickly it absorbs into my skin. I don't expect to see dramatic results overnight, and honestly, I'm not at an age where I should be seeing immediate changes anyway. This serum feels so hydrating and soothing when I apply it. I really appreciate that it's not sticky or heavy at all. Out of all the serums I've tried, this one is by far the gentlest on my skin. There's absolutely nothing good about it. Seriously, nothing at all. I think I originally bought this during a promotional event on their official website when they were doing a buy-one-get-one deal. You can use this product without worrying about your wallet. The price-to-quality ratio is really solid and worth every penny. I have combination skin that gets oily quickly after eating greasy foods, which throws off my moisture-oil balance and triggers breakouts. However, my skin is resilient against external stressors and doesn't easily become compromised. The ampoule bottle couldn't be cut, so this is a photo of the empty container. The texture is like nasal mucus - slightly slippery but doesn't leave any residue or uncomfortable feeling on the skin. My skin feels incredibly smooth and plump after using it. I haven't experienced any major breakouts while using this product. Since I tend to eat a lot, aside from breakouts that cosmetics can't prevent, I'd say the soothing effect is quite impressive. I noticed the results are maximized when used together with the toner and cream from the same line, rather than using it alone. I'm planning to repurchase this as a set when I buy the cream and toner again. The toner and cream I bought together don't offer great value for money, and the ampoule is even worse in that regard. During these times, I skip all the potentially irritating products like anti-aging serums and vitamin treatments, and stick only to my sensitive skin line. When I combine this ampoule with my sensitive skin routine, I can really feel my skin bouncing back from within. It's subtle, but there's definitely a noticeable difference in skin firmness compared to using just the sensitive line alone. The amount is honestly so disappointing. I'm not even sure if I'm using too much, but since I only apply it when my skin feels sensitive, I haven't used it heavily, and it's already running out. Since the formula is so good, use this ampoule together with your gentle sensitive skin line whenever your skin needs extra care!
