The formula has a bit of texture to it, which I actually like. I only apply it when I have breakouts, and it works just fine for my needs. Nothing really stands out as bad, but I do find it feels a bit heavy for summer use. This product is absolutely amazing! I ran out of toner and couldn't use it for 2 days, and my skin started breaking out with all these tiny bumps. That's when I realized how much I needed it, so I repurchased immediately. It really does calm and soothe my skin beautifully, and I'm definitely buying it again! Well, the only downside is that it occasionally feels a bit stinging or irritating on my skin. When I soak a cotton pad with half the amount of toner and use it as a treatment mask, it works wonderfully!

The formula supposedly reduces irritation with BHA capsules, though honestly, Korean products are only allowed to contain up to 0.5% anyway, and my skin doesn't get irritated even with 2%, so I can't really tell if it's less irritating. I think people who found BHA products stinging before would really appreciate this one. I love that the bottle has a compact, sturdy shape instead of being tall and narrow. The wide base means it won't tip over easily. For my oily skin, there's a slightly sticky residue left on my skin after using it. Depending on your skin type, some people describe that feeling as hydrating. I really love that this toner contains BHA for gentle exfoliation. When I use it as a sheet mask, it's amazing for calming my skin, and even when I layer it multiple times with a cotton pad, it absorbs beautifully without any issues. My skin feels less hot and irritated, and it becomes so hydrated! I have acne-prone skin, and I'm thrilled that this toner doesn't clog my pores and actually helps with oil control. The texture is lightweight and flows like water, and since it's slightly acidic, it's gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. There's barely any fragrance, which I appreciate. I bought this acne toner, but after using it, I realized it's more of a brightening and soothing moisturizer suitable for acne-prone skin rather than a targeted acne treatment. The fragrance is subtle and gentle—it feels like a mild, non-irritating product. What really impressed me was the application and absorption. It spreads smoothly without wasting a single drop and absorbs beautifully into the skin, much better than a typical cleansing toner. I honestly couldn't find any real downsides. My only minor wish would be that it had slightly less of an oily feel to it. After applying a cream and reapplying this toner throughout the day for a fresh finish, then getting a good night's sleep, my skin looked absolutely radiant the next morning.
