It has that perfect balance where it doesn't feel heavy or greasy, yet provides just enough nourishment. I really dislike products that feel suffocating or overly drying, and this one hits that sweet spot of hydration and oil balance that I'm always looking for. It feels like the perfect finishing layer after applying hydrating serums or vitamin essences. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to achieve a lightweight, balanced complexion. Plump and radiant skin I've been using this cream paired with a vitamin essence, and my skin feels so smooth and bouncy. I'm not sure if it's this product's specific benefits, but I love this combination. Plus, my regular routine includes an orange vitamin C serum followed by this cream, and I do a vitamin C pad treatment twice a week. On days when my skin feels particularly parched, I'll sometimes apply an aloe gel first before the serum. Not a popular product I've been using the 23 Years Old cream for almost a decade, and unfortunately, the products I choose tend to be underrated - three of them have been discontinued. This one has better ingredients than those previous three and works better for my skin, but I'm constantly worried it might meet the same fate. Plus, it's not sold at major retailers, and I can't buy it in-store, so I always have to order online in advance. Can cause congestion I think it might be the shea butter, but if you apply too much (especially in hot summer weather), it can cause breakouts. However, my skin texture generally stays in great condition, and if I control the amount and warm it up on the back of my hand before applying, it doesn't cause major issues. I don't think it's worth switching products over, since breakouts can happen with other products too depending on skin condition, and my skin has never looked better than when using this. Interestingly, I rarely experienced congestion during winter. If shea butter doesn't work for your skin, be cautious! Doesn't address deep dehydration It doesn't tackle deep dehydration and feels more like a thin protective layer rather than providing lasting moisture, so I always apply an essence or aloe gel first. Compared to Dr. Jart's Pore Zero Cream, this feels much less occlusive. Some people might still feel dryness even after layering essences underneath. However, Dr. Jart's feels too heavy for year-round use for me, so this product is perfect for all seasons. I've found that keeping a slight hint of dryness actually helps prevent breakouts. Application tips - Allow essences to fully absorb before applying this cream - Use a tiny amount (I use just a pea-sized amount), warm it on the back of your hand with gentle rolling motions, then apply to your face - Be cautious in summer as it can feel heavy - Because of its rich texture, I avoid applying it to areas like my eyebrows - li*********Da khôDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiĐược đề xuất19/04/2024 (UTC+0)
When I hit my 30s, I noticed my skin's firmness started to fade. My already very dry skin became even more parched, and my overall complexion just felt off. I kept hearing about how great retinol is these days, but since it comes with so many potential side effects, I got nervous using it. All those warnings about sun sensitivity made me hesitant, especially with the weather getting hotter. I'd open my windows at night and felt too cautious to apply it, so I stopped using it altogether. Then I came across videos introducing bakuchiol as an alternative that delivers retinol-like results without the downsides, and you can even use it during the day. I kept thinking about trying a bakuchiol cream, and I finally did! Sorry for the long intro! Since I have extremely dry skin, I absolutely need a cream that tackles dryness. My complexion has been struggling lately, so even though my skin was clearly parched, I was getting some breakouts. My skin is naturally sensitive, and I'm particular about ingredients too. After using this bakuchiol A-core cream for a week, I didn't get any breakouts at all. In fact, the blemishes I had before cleared up significantly. The texture feels perfectly balanced, not too heavy or too light. The spreadability is excellent, and I really appreciated the tube packaging. Most tube creams are hygienic, but they often dispense way too much product at once. This cream has a thoughtfully designed tube that lets you control the amount easily. The hydration is amazing without any tight, dry feeling, it doesn't stick to my hair, and it absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling comfortable. The formula includes panthenol, which I love, plus houttuynia cordata extract for calming irritated skin. That's probably why my breakouts healed so fast. Here's what I love about this cream: • Even though I have extremely dry skin, it feels moisturizing when I apply it. Since it has no oily residue and absorbs beautifully, I think it works for all skin types. • The tube packaging is hygienic, and since you can easily control how much you use, it'll last a long time. • There are no problematic ingredients, so I feel completely confident using it. • My sensitive skin didn't break out at all, and it actually felt calmer. • The texture is effortless for anyone to use, and the application is smooth. If I had to pick something, it might feel a bit too neutral for some people. Honestly, there really aren't any real drawbacks. - wl*******Da thiếu nướcLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất11/01/2024 (UTC+0)
My skin feels so plump and bouncy. It's even suitable for sensitive skin types! I was using Centella Asiatica and Cica Cream, but when autumn arrived and my skin got really dry, I decided to try Bakuchiol. Using it through fall and winter has been amazing - my flaking and dead skin cells basically disappeared! Before, I had to do a separate exfoliating treatment about once a week, but now there's nothing to manage. Is my skin just naturally compatible with this product? I barely get any breakouts anymore, and all those little blemishes have cleared up significantly. There is a slight oily finish after application, but it's not bothersome at all. Plus, the products in this line work beautifully together, so I'd definitely recommend considering the whole range! I wish they'd release a lighter cream with similar ingredients for summer use. Fall to spring skincare routine recommendation for sensitive skin: Morning: Bakuchiol Toner + Bakuchiol Cream Evening: Bakuchiol Toner + Centella Asiatica P + Bakuchiol Cream I layer the toner 3 to 5 times for maximum hydration. - bo******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảm07/05/2022 (UTC+0)
It's just okay. I can't really point out any standout positives, honestly. I bought it as a set, but everything feels pretty mediocre. I skip using it during the day because of the bakuchiol content. It leaves my skin feeling dry. I'm not even sure if my skin is actually improving. - sh*******Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất12/11/2021 (UTC+0)
I bought it directly from the official website! I didn't even realize they had done a crowdfunding campaign before - I purchased mine straight from their site! I used the same brand's Cica Gel for almost 5 years, and when they discontinued it, I switched to another cream. That one got discontinued too, so I ended up trying this one. Once I started using the 23-year-old formula, I noticed that nothing else seemed to work for my skin anymore - it's strange, right? My skin is dry with an oily T-zone and a bit sensitive, but this cream works beautifully for me. The only thing is that this alone doesn't feel hydrating enough, so I layer it with a Toriden serum. Aside from the times I messed up my skin's condition, I haven't really had breakouts - it's been great. What I love most is that before my natural oils kick in, this cream creates a protective barrier so my skin doesn't feel overly oily. Fingers crossed this one doesn't get discontinued! It's not available! Since it contains shea butter, I'm careful not to apply too much. The original packaging wasn't great - the material would flake off as you used it - but they've redesigned it this time around, which is nice! It works wonderfully when paired with Toriden's low-molecular serum. Even if you don't use that specific serum, applying a hydrating product first (not an oily one) before this cream makes a real difference in how well it performs. - lo**********Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất18/10/2021 (UTC+0)
I have combination skin that's not particularly sensitive, but my skin breaks out dramatically whenever my moisture-oil balance gets disrupted. *The attached photo was compressed, but it's a genuine empty bottle verification of the Bakuchiol A Core Cream. - I didn't experience any additional breakouts while using this product. Even though it's summer and I've been eating quite a bit of oily food, the fact that my skin stayed protected without major issues shows that this cream really does maintain a solid balance. - My skin feels incredibly smooth and plump. You can use it as a regular cream, but if you pair it with the toner-cream mask treatment mentioned in the tips below, the results are truly amazing. - It works beautifully with other products in the same line, like the toner and serum. - Without any stickiness, it provides a perfectly balanced protective feeling for my face with no rough edges. - Once I finish using the other creams I impulse-bought during the Olive Young sale, I'm definitely repurchasing this one. I wish they'd release a larger size. Also, since I've only used this during summer after it launched, it's hard for me to comment on how it performs during fall like now and the winter ahead. Based on my experience, I think people with combination skin like me will get through fall and winter without issues, but I do think it would be good to add a lighter hydrating product to your routine just to be safe. The toner-cream mask treatment is seriously incredible for plumping and firming your skin. Here's what you do: in the morning before blow-drying your hair, soak a cotton pad in your skin toner and place it on your face, then apply the Bakuchiol cream on top. Leave it for about 10 to 20 minutes. Then flip it over so the cream side is against your skin and leave it for another 10 minutes. You'll be amazed at how beautifully your makeup applies after this treatment. - hd*****Da khôDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất31/08/2021 (UTC+0)
Provides excellent hydration. The lightweight texture of Bakuchiol D makes it perfect for layering - I apply it first, then finish with the Bakuchiol cream before bed, and wake up with a beautiful glow. Even for dry skin, this cream feels nourishing without any tightness. The formula is quite rich, so while it feels luxurious when applied generously at night, wearing it during the day can make makeup shift and feel heavy. It's not quite as intensely plumping as the advertising suggests. This works better as a night cream than a day cream, and I'd especially recommend it for dry skin types rather than oily skin.
qu***Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất27/05/2021 (UTC+0)This concentrated cream is packed with bakuchiol to revitalize your skin, plus panthenol that excels at hydrating and soothing! Bakuchiol is a natural antioxidant derived from plants that supports collagen production and helps improve skin elasticity and radiance. Combined with retinol benefits for firmness and panthenol for hydration and comfort, this is a true anti-aging powerhouse. Retinol products can be tricky to use during the day and might feel irritating, but this Bakuchiol A Core Cream is gentle enough for daytime use and even sensitive skin types. The texture is rich and creamy, yet it glides on smoothly and leaves your skin feeling hydrated with a fresh finish. Concentrated creams are usually too heavy to wear before makeup, but this one doesn't feel thick or greasy under makeup, and the hydration lasts all day. If your skin feels dull and dehydrated, you're worried about fine lines, but you don't want a heavy cream and need a lightweight anti-aging option instead, I'd definitely recommend 23years old Bakuchiol A Core Cream! I didn't find any downsides to this product. - pd*****Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất28/04/2021 (UTC+0)
I think most creams from the 23-year-old brand are worth every penny. I absolutely love them. This product is such a favorite that I even pre-ordered it during the Wadiz crowdfunding campaign. I currently own four of them, including the one I'm using now. What I really appreciated was that it delivers retinol-like benefits while being gentle enough to use during the day without any irritation. The rich, bouncy texture is fantastic too. It provides just the right amount of hydration, and the scent is pleasant. It's particularly effective at smoothing out skin texture and refining pores. I honestly don't have any complaints. During extremely dry seasons, I do mix it with a richer, more emollient cream before applying.
zi*******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất01/03/2021 (UTC+0)I purchased this through the Wadiz crowdfunding campaign '[Clinical Results Complete] 74.5% Skin Elasticity Improvement in Just One Day? Elasticity Creates Beautiful Skin.' and have been using it for about a week. Here's my honest review. Since you're probably busy, let me quickly highlight the benefits I've experienced: Enhanced elasticity - Noticeably fewer mask strap marks on my face Reduced fine lines - Especially around my eyes, under-eye area, and between my brows Less excess oil - I naturally have oily skin, but this really helped control it Minimized pilling and texture issues - I use sunscreen daily and occasionally powder, and everything sits beautifully without flaking or bunching There are probably other benefits I'm not thinking of right now, but these are the standouts. This is honestly the most satisfied I've been with a product I've bought recently. I'm definitely buying this again. I need to stock up next time! It's not available on their official website. I think it's worth waiting for the Wadiz encore crowdfunding campaign. I apply this before my hydrating cream step. I haven't tried mixing it with my hydrating cream, but since it's slightly on the drier side, I think blending it together could work really well too!
