Since oily skin gets shiny after just a few hours anyway, it doesn't stay matte for long regardless. 1. Gentle formula 2. Matte finish (no excess moisture, no shine) 3. Doesn't look cakey or heavy 4. Easy to apply (cushion format) 5. Wears beautifully as it settles (doesn't crack or separate) 1. The cushion and puff don't fit well together (solved it with a drugstore air puff) 2. Makeup shifts under a mask (probably would be the same if you touch it with your hands) 3. Doesn't play well with sunscreen (when the foundation adheres to skin, it creates this weird clumpy, textured feeling) For those mentioning oxidation, I get what you mean now. After a while, it matches your actual skin tone. The pale appearance right after application doesn't last. I actually liked how natural it looked (if you don't like this, I'd recommend a lavender powder instead). I solved the clumpy texture issue with Benton Cica hydrating essence serum. (Not an ad, but I bought 10 sunscreens in one week and tested them myself) Sunscreen that's too matte doesn't work either. If it has too much oil, it separates in less than 3 hours. My skin has been really reactive since last year, and whenever I tried other cushions, they would irritate my skin terribly and make it flare up. But this cushion? I've been using it for six months now and my skin hasn't reacted at all. I'm seriously in love with this product, developer! Oh, and the coverage is absolutely incredible. I have pretty dark circles under my eyes, almost panda-like, but honestly, I don't even need concealer anymore. This cushion alone handles everything perfectly. The product amount feels a bit light. It would be amazing if you could include just one extra puff with each purchase.
