If you have a cool undertone and find that completely muted shades feel underwhelming while overly vibrant colors don't quite work either, this strawberry milk makeup look is perfect for you. It delivers that soft, saturated color payoff without going too intense. No downsides. The ingredients seem really good, and I love that it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It feels comfortable and gentle.

There's a slight muddiness to some of the tones, so lighter skin tones might find the palette hit or miss. I'm totally obsessed with the shimmer though—it's exactly my style! This is such a perfect everyday palette. It's not super cool-toned at all. If you love mauve tones, you absolutely have to get this! I usually hate when I buy a palette and only end up using one or two shades repeatedly, so I was hesitant. But this six-shade palette is different - it's a beautifully soft mauve collection that completes your eye makeup perfectly, and honestly, there's not a single shade I skip. The compact case fits right in my palm and feels sturdy, so I've been carrying just this shadow in my pouch for two weeks now and getting so much use out of it. I've truly discovered what a great palette feels like. (Update 250410: Actually, scratch the sturdy case comment - it broke pretty quickly. Since so many people read this review, I wanted to correct that. The connection between the lid and the base started cracking, and I'm not sure why. Also, the Dewy shade - it's so pretty, but it keeps separating from the pan.) 1. Dewy: This is genuinely gorgeous. It's a pearlescent highlighter that catches the light beautifully. If you love this shade, please apply it to the tip of your nose and the inner corner of your eyes. 2. Starry Pink: It looks fresh and pretty on its own, but when you want a more mauve-forward look, use it as a base and layer Fade Out and Antique Pink on top for an even more stunning result. 3. Birthday: Adding a pop of this shade in the center of your eyelid looks absolutely stunning. 4. Fade Out: A lavender-leaning mauve pink. 5. Antique Pink: A dried rose-inspired mauve pink. 6. Ash Fog: A muted burgundy with all the red and yellow tones removed - perfect for defining your eyeliner and adding deep shadow to your crease. I'm pretty lazy about my makeup routine and usually apply shadow with my fingers instead of brushes, but this formula blends smoothly without clumping. The pearl and glitter textures in shades 1 and 3 are especially smooth and beautiful. The case feels a bit fragile. I carry it in my pouch and the opening keeps getting looser over time. Eventually it just broke. Comparing Fairy vs Misty If you're torn between these two like I was, here's what I recommend based on trying both: - If you love mauve tones, have cool undertones, and want to keep things as cool as possible: go with Misty - If you love pink beige and even have deep undertones: Fairy works great

What gets me excited is that they're made up of only the colors I actually need, and they're so easy to carry around. Those two things have become really appealing to me right now. So I was browsing around looking for a palette I'd love, and I ended up picking one up from 2AN this time! It's the Bare Me Eye Palette. There are 5 different shades available, and I grabbed shades 2 and 3. Shade 03 #MISTY has this mysterious, ethereal vibe with a mauve-pink color story. The #lavender-pink shade is genuinely mysterious, just like the name suggests. The pink has this subtle saturation to it, and the mauve shade isn't nearly as muddy as I expected! Just like shade 2, shade 3 is also made up of 4 matte shades and 2 glitter shades. Personally, the main mauve shade felt really fresh and new to me. When I swatch it on my hand or arm, it does come out pretty muted, but when I apply it to my eyes, there's this lovely saturation that shows through! I really felt like the six shades in each palette work beautifully together. That's why I'm already curious about the other shades I didn't buy. Honestly, after getting tired of 9-shade and larger palettes, this one has really settled into my heart. It's become a favorite! The formula is absolutely flawless. The eyeliner shade really makes my eyes pop, the mid-tone works beautifully as a base color, and the shimmer is just stunning. I'm really impressed with this product. There's a bit of powder fallout, but honestly it's not a deal-breaker. It's manageable and still worth using despite this minor issue.
