The application was absolutely fantastic! It felt lighter than I expected. After applying it, I did notice it could feel a bit dry at times, but honestly, that's just a minor thing! It is a bit drying! Forehead wrinkles and drooping eyelids - I applied this generously before bed and saw improvement in just one day! The hydration is absolutely fantastic. The price point is a bit steep. This is a flowing gel with a transparent feel, and you can see it on my fingertip in the photo. Since it's a sample, it leaked a bit when I opened it. The scent is so refreshing and cool, making it perfect for summer use. When I apply it, my skin feels soothed and the surface becomes refreshingly cool. On days when my skin has been exposed to a lot of sun, I layer this essence and gel cream repeatedly in any order, and it really helps reduce the heat sensation and promotes skin renewal. I'd say this has a texture that works well for all skin types. This is my holy grail for dry, dehydrated skin. The hydration and oil balance is spot-on. I have sensitive skin and I haven't experienced any irritation whatsoever. It's pricey, but trust me, you have to try the three-step mask routine from the Waterfull line! Step one is the essence, then the mask pack, and finally the cream. The spa mask pack is seriously soothing—it's exactly what you need. When my skin's hydration and oil balance got thrown off, the Waterfull Marine Essence and mask pack cream literally saved my skin. You'll forget what dryness even feels like. Definitely give the mask pack a try. The essence has a lightweight, watery texture—it's not a toner, that's separate—and it absorbs beautifully while leaving just a touch of oil to balance everything out. This lightweight water essence has such a fluid texture that it's perfect for summer use. I loved how it hydrated my skin right after cleansing. The scent is so refreshing and invigorating. It feels light and airy when you apply it, and the fluid texture spreads beautifully across your skin. It absorbs quickly even on bare skin without any heavy residue. After application, your skin feels comfortable and never feels suffocated or weighed down. The finish is incredibly soft and has that perfect powdery, breathable quality. It's a bit too lightweight for me. Right after applying it, there's definitely a dewy feel, but it dries out on the surface pretty quickly as time goes on. Even though it's labeled as an ampoule essence, it doesn't really deliver that nourishing, nutrient-rich sensation you'd expect from a true serum.
