It goes on a bit wet, but dries down to a beautiful matte finish that feels incredibly soft and powdery. Even though it's a deeper shade in the 23-24 range, the color payoff is seriously impressive and really shows up on the skin. It's just a personal preference thing, but as a shade 23 with deep autumn undertones, it didn't work for my complexion. I really loved the color and how long it lasted, and it layers beautifully too I developed lip irritation and it was incredibly painful. My lips swelled up to twice their size. The color payoff is amazing and the shade and texture are so beautiful - it has this watercolor vibe to it! I've been using this for years now. I always stock up during Olive Young sales and keep it on rotation. I even grabbed another one when I exchanged products before. It does apply color, but here's the thing - the staying power is pretty weak. You really need to be careful about controlling the amount and adjusting the shade as you go. Even though it's a warm tone, it suits me surprisingly well, so I keep repurchasing it The color seems to fade a bit quickly, and when I layer it on, it becomes too dark and intense

I usually don't finish my lip tints, but I actually used this one all the way through! It's amazing how it hydrates my lips while smoothing out any dry patches and flakiness. Lipstick? My lips are usually hard to color, but this applies so smoothly and beautifully! I absolutely love how it finishes with that perfect matte effect. The color payoff is really impressive! (check out the photos) I wiped it off after 10 minutes and the color stayed put - you can totally see it. It finishes with a soft, velvety feel that's not dry at all - it's actually quite comfortable. There's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, the color does fade quite a bit after eating. Of course, even with great color payoff, it will fade over time - that's just how lip products work. Here's a pro tip: apply the lip product, wait 10 minutes, then wipe it off and reapply it. It does feel a bit dry, so if you have naturally dry lips, wearing it alone will leave your lips feeling parched.
