Perfect for deep undertones! I found that Dear Match was too sheer and didn't show up well on me, which was disappointing. But this one? It's absolutely my shade! I'm actually on my third tube now, haha. Honestly, I can't complain about much! Sure, it wears away a bit quickly, but that's really the only thing. The scent is lovely, the price is fair, the color is gorgeous, and it doesn't emphasize dry patches at all! Like I mentioned before, since it's a water tint, it does fade pretty fast when you apply it. But other than that, there's nothing else to worry about! I absolutely love how smooth and velvety this tint formula feels on my lips. It has a clean matte finish, but it applies as easily as a water tint and sets beautifully once it dries. The color is perfectly suited to my cool undertone, and the staying power is really impressive as long as I'm careful not to eat or drink right after applying it. That said, if I layer it multiple times, it can get a bit clumpy and feel drying. It does transfer pretty easily when I drink through a straw or eat, so I have to be mindful. I've learned that I really need to prep my lips well beforehand because the formula tends to cling to dry patches and flaky areas.

Since the controversial Red No. 202 isn't available right now, I've been using this product instead to soothe the lip irritation it caused, and I absolutely love it! Even though I have cool undertones, when I apply it lightly, it gives such a subtle but flattering pop of color. The color fades pretty quickly and sometimes what's left behind doesn't look as pretty as I'd hoped.

The color payoff is fantastic and it applies so smoothly! I've been using this constantly and absolutely love it! The best part is that I can layer it to adjust the intensity, so I can customize the shade to match different outfits and moods. After using it for a while, I noticed the formula started to change as I got toward the end, so I had to throw it out. I'm already on my second one! The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how it feels moisturizing but finishes with a matte effect - it's really the best of both worlds. Since this is a watercolor tint, just keep in mind that if you don't blend it right away after applying, the color will set as is. But once you know that, it applies beautifully!

If you're a fan of this brand's color palette, it's definitely worth trying out. I was really disappointed with the formula of this product. It seems like the brand tried to combine a watery texture with a blurred finish, but the result feels like it's neither one nor the other. From a watery perspective, the color payoff is decent, but when it blends with the blurred formula, it becomes difficult to apply the color evenly and ends up looking patchy. While using a lip brush separately would be ideal, applying with just the applicator tip makes it hard to have precise control over the color placement. The blur effect is absolutely stunning! It gives your lips that perfectly soft-focus, filtered look—like you've applied a blur filter just to your lips through an app. It's such a gorgeous finish! The only downside is that you do have to sacrifice some moisture, which is a bit disappointing. It's not the most hydrating option out there.
