I have deep undertones and this shade is absolutely gorgeous! Plus, it's so hydrating that it really helps with any dryness or flaking on my lips. I'm someone who loves a juicy, moisturizing tint over matte finishes, so if you're into that dewy lip look, I definitely recommend this one! The color does feel a bit on the lighter side, so if you prefer applying it heavily for a more intense payoff, you might find it disappointing. The color payoff is really nice, and once applied, it feels incredibly smooth—like your skin is coated with the finest, silkiest powder. The color is absolutely gorgeous and has this lovely peach tone to it! I think it would look amazing on anyone with deep undertones and cool skin! I reach for this as my everyday lip color all the time If you skip the lip balm and apply this directly, the dry patches become really noticeable, which is frustrating. I know matte tints tend to do this, but this one is tricky because it starts out feeling hydrated and then shifts to a matte finish. The formula is exactly my style This is truly the definition of a velvety matte tint. When you first apply it, it feels refreshingly cool and hydrating, but the moment you blend it out, it transforms into that perfect powdery matte finish♡♡♡♡ I genuinely love how it feels. 3. Darkening effect There's definitely some darkening that happens. The shade shifts depending on the lighting, and when I check the mirror after being outside, sometimes it looks like I'm wearing a muted dark tint. Depending on my overall makeup look, it can be beautiful or it can clash with everything. (When worn alone, the darkening is noticeable, but when layered with other products, it's not as obvious!) 2. The shade itself The color doesn't seem to be the most flattering for my skin tone. It has a warm undertone, kind of like a spring pink. (Though it's not a light shade.) When I wear it alone, my lips look disconnected from my face, and if I go outside the lip line, I end up looking like I just finished eating spicy stew! The quick-setting formula makes it easy to overdraw, but honestly, the color makes me look like I've been eating stew... I'm hesitant about repurchasing as a holy grail because the other shades in this line also seem to have warm undertones. 3. The official color doesn't match reality I didn't check the official shade preview before buying, so it didn't bother me, but the official color and the actual shade are different. (Maybe it's because my natural lip color is quite deep?) 4. Sets too quickly It's both a pro and a con! On the positive side, it sets fast and doesn't budge, which is great. But on the negative side, if I'm even slightly slow with blending, the color stays exactly where I applied it without blending smoothly. ㅠ *I like to try lots of different cosmetics, so I usually don't repurchase similar products from the same brand, and I definitely avoid buying multiple items from the same line. I have deep undertones and I'm between cool and warm, so I'm a pink-toned spring type! This tint is absolutely gorgeous! It's honestly my holy grail product! I find glossy finishes overwhelming, but super matte ones are even worse, so I absolutely loved this water-blur formula! I can wear it to school without anyone noticing... The only tiny downside is that the scent is really sweet, but honestly I still love it so much! Pink-toned spring types, you need to get this! I actually layer Lilly by Red's Peach Pudding as my base since it gives me a slightly warmer tone, then I add 3CE as a lip accent on top, and it looks absolutely stunning. I really recommend this combination! Formula: Applies smoothly and sets with a powdery finish Color payoff: Quick color application with great staying power Shade: Recommended for pink-toned spring types Scent: Reminds me of cough medicine? It's very similar The scent is a bit artificial and divisive - some people might love it, others won't. The fragrance is extremely sweet! It smells like medicine? Excellent lasting power with deep undertones that I'd definitely recommend. The color payoff is fantastic and it doesn't feel sticky or tacky on the lips. It can fade if your lips are dry, and when you layer it, the shade shifts to a darker, more reddish tone.
