The texture is on the thicker side so it doesn't flow easily, but once I spread it on my face, it feels completely weightless. It glides on smoothly, but that slickness comes from the formula itself rather than oil—it's clean and clear. Because of this, after it absorbs, my skin doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable. It just feels nicely hydrated. For basic hydration, this product works great. Since this is basically an oil-free hydrating serum, I found it gets a bit dry if I don't layer another treatment underneath. So I have to apply a hydrating ampoule along with it. During seasonal changes or winter, using it alone is tough. That said, I don't think it's fair to expect deep moisture from a hydrating serum in the first place, and other similar products have the same limitation, so it's not really a major drawback. Actually, for people who layer a lot of products on their face, having just hydration without extra nourishment can be better—it prevents overloading your skin while still delivering the moisture you need. Since I have oily skin, if I use anything too rich, I break out in tiny bumps right away. One more thing—the dropper is a bit finicky. It doesn't dispense smoothly unless you find just the right angle. Comparing this to Wellage, Nine Wishes, and Toriden: Wellage—it's basically a thin, runny liquid, so it felt a bit too drying for me. I'd recommend it for people with oily skin or those who layer multiple products. Nine Wishes—it's solid and reliable. Perfect if you want pure hydration or if you're already using lots of products on your face. Toriden—this one has some oil in it, so your skin feels plump and dewy. It has a slight viscosity, but it's basically a water-like serum that delivers pure hydration without feeling heavy. It applies beautifully and doesn't shift under makeup when I use it before my morning routine. For such a lightweight formula, the absorption isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. It doesn't quite address all my concerns, especially when it comes to tackling deep dehydration. This product seems perfect for oily, combination, and dry skin types. It's really helpful for restoring deep hydration. Since I use it daily, my skin feels properly moisturized from within, and my makeup applies beautifully and lasts longer. I didn't really notice any major drawbacks. I've been using this serum for almost 10 years now. Even though my skin is sensitive, this one feels incredibly gentle and really locks in moisture beautifully. Whenever I try other rich, nourishing serums, I always find myself coming back to this one. It's on the lighter, more fluid side, so it goes quickly. That said, it's not one of those thin formulas that skimps on hydration. This product is perfect for hydration because it contains low molecular weight hyaluronic acid! Even on days when my skin feels parched underneath, or before I apply makeup, it leaves my skin feeling dewy and refreshed. This has a thick, sticky texture rather than a watery formula. While it does have some weight to it, it's still perfect for dry skin! It's perfectly fine for everyday use. I wouldn't expect dramatic results, but it works well for what it is.
