The foam cleanser has a nice, gentle acidic pH and produces a good amount of lather. While it's not excessively foamy, compared to other weakly acidic cleansers I've tried that left me feeling like my skin wasn't thoroughly cleansed, this one strikes a nice balance. The lather is moderate, yet it feels like it cleanses more effectively than other products I've used. The scent reminds me of a soothing herbal balm with minty notes—I'm guessing that's from the menthol listed in the ingredients. It has that fresh, herbal quality to it. When it touches your face, you get a subtle cooling sensation, almost like you've applied a warming balm. I'm assuming that's the menthol at work too. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin that's easily irritated, and after using it for about four days, I haven't experienced any breakouts. The product feels really pleasant to use.
Since this is a specialized acne-fighting formula with premium ingredients, the product size is a bit smaller than I'd hoped, which is disappointing. That said, the product itself performs really well and I'm satisfied with the results.
