Skin Type - Cool undertone, fair complexion with oily T-zone, dry around the mouth, and combination skin. My skin is quite sensitive and reacts badly to products that don't work for me. I absolutely love this sunscreen! Since it's formulated as an ampoule sunscreen, the texture feels incredibly hydrating, like applying a moisturizing cream, and the spreadability is fantastic. I was previously using a well-known hydrating sunscreen, and while it's great for a bare face, when I layer makeup over it, the makeup tends to look a bit heavy and cakey. I was searching for an alternative, and this one is so hydrating with just the right amount of oil content that feels lightweight. The makeup applies and sets beautifully over it. Plus, it's formulated for sensitive skin, so I can use it with complete peace of mind. It has a herbal-like scent that feels a bit masculine to me, which I find off-putting. The oil content is quite high, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types or during the summer months. If you've struggled with matte-finish products before, try using this before your base makeup.

This feels more like a hydrating emulsion than a sunscreen. There's a slight cooling sensation when I apply it, but absolutely no eye irritation. I've been using it for several days now, and it's so lightweight that I actually forgot I'd already applied sunscreen and went to layer another one on top—that's how fresh it feels! Even with double layering, there's zero pilling. I used to hate the heavy, suffocating feeling of layering sunscreens in summer, but this one is completely oil-free, so I can layer it as many times as I want without any issues. It has this cool mugwort or herbal scent to it. I'm sensitive to fragrance and prefer unscented sunscreens, so I wish this one had been fragrance-free or had just a subtle spa-like scent instead. That's my only disappointment. Since it's moisture-based, there's absolutely no makeup shifting or patchiness whatsoever. As someone with dry skin, I did notice a bit of dryness around my eyes and smile lines when humidity was at 45%, so I rubbed a little cream between my palms and gently pressed it in.
