Perfect for keeping in your bag during summer or taking on trips. It does a decent job of cleansing and wiping away residue on the go. That said, don't expect it to deliver intense hydration or moisture—it's more of a basic cleanser. The good news is it didn't cause any breakouts or irritation for me. The pad texture feels a bit rough and scratchy. I was skeptical about this calamine product since it's priced so affordably compared to premium brands, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it actually works for clearing up breakouts. Plus, the compact size makes it perfect for tossing into my travel bag. I'm really happy with this! It's perfect for a quick wipe before makeup, and I swear my skin feels less oily when I use it. My blackheads have noticeably improved too. Plus, I deal with a lot of redness, and this actually calms it down. Definitely a win! The only thing is, I wish the pad texture was softer. It feels a bit rough and can be irritating on sensitive skin. I used this exfoliating toner on my combination and oily skin. The hydration level felt just right, and it didn't leave my oily skin feeling overly sticky or heavy—everything about it was perfectly balanced. I originally bought this for travel since it's inconvenient to pack my regular toner pads when I'm on the go, and I have to say, it's been amazing for trips! It takes up minimal space, and as I use it, the pad gets thinner, making it incredibly easy to carry around. First off, the scent isn't for me. I'm not even sure what fragrance it is, but even using it daily, I couldn't get used to it. Also, other hydrating toner pads I've tried are absolutely saturated with essence—you can hear it sloshing around. This one feels like it only has enough essence to dampen the pad itself. While the amount of essence isn't necessarily lacking, it's not intensely moisturizing, so there's a slight irritation. After using it for 5 more days, my skin kept getting more and more irritated. I'm not sure if the ingredients don't work well with my skin or if the pad material is just too harsh, but my skin got so much worse that I had to stop using it. This is perfect if you're using it for a 1-2 week trip! The amount is just right, and it doesn't take up much space, so it's great for packing. Plus, considering the price point, having a travel-friendly product like this is such a win!

But since that's just the nature of Daiso products, I won't dwell on it too much. Formulation: With about 95% hydration and 5% oil content, it feels like a watery toner pack with noticeable moisture. However, there's something odd about it—my skin felt dry after using it. Absorption: Since it has plenty of hydration, the absorption is quite good. Pad texture: The pink pads don't have embossing and have a slightly rough feel. They contain black-colored ingredients, which makes the texture quite irritating. Using the exfoliating toner: It's irritating. Since my skin is sensitive, it caused a lot of irritation and triggered breakouts. Using it as a treatment pack: I used it for hydration and soothing purposes, but I'm not sure about the soothing effect. While it did add moisture, it didn't give that plump, dewy feeling I was hoping for. And honestly, what disappointed me most was the pad texture. It felt more irritating and rough than the empty pad containers sold at Daiso. Because of this, I felt it just wasn't compatible with my sensitive skin. If you do decide to use it, I'd recommend using it as a treatment pack instead.
