1. Great Value I used to feel like buying a separate blush product was a waste of money, so I'd use eyeshadow or lip products as blush instead. This product offers such excellent value that I felt confident making the purchase without hesitation. 2. Color The shade is absolutely gorgeous. It features a soft, flattering pink tone that works beautifully across different skin tones. Honestly... it's just stunning. This is exactly what a peach pink should look like. While the color applies quite sheer, you can build it up using a layering technique to adjust the intensity to your preference. 3. Versatility Since this is a liquid formula, you can layer a powder on top to set it, or blend it with other liquid or cream blush shades to customize your color. It looks beautiful on its own, but I really appreciate how versatile it is for mixing and matching. 4. Finish The base doesn't shift or flake, and it creates a gorgeous luminous glow without feeling sticky or tacky. The formula melts into your skin like a skincare product, giving you a naturally seamless finish. 1. Dosage Control It's tricky to control how much product comes out. Because it's in a tube, quite a bit dispenses at once, so I'd recommend squeezing some onto the back of your hand first to control the amount before applying it to your face. 2. Separation Issue There's a clear liquid that separates from the formula right out of the box. Even after the first use, this keeps happening, which suggests the formula separates inside the tube. Make sure to shake it vigorously before each use and massage the tube to remix the formula properly. Don't apply directly to your face. Dispense the product onto your hand or another surface first before using it. Even if you shake it thoroughly before use, the liquid layer will separate, so always shake it well or massage the tube before application.

You know, back when the streets were lined with countless makeup shops instead of being dominated by one big chain, one of my absolute go-to products was Apieu's Juicy-Pang Water Blush. So imagine my excitement when I heard that Apieu was launching a water cheek tint through a collaboration with Daiso. I mean, I just had to get it, right? No way I could resist! Apieu's The Purest Candy Water Cheek came out in three gorgeous shades, and I went ahead and picked up all of them to test them out for you. 01 New Year Peach - "A pink peach that brings out your natural flush" 02 Guava Vibes - "An apricot beige that sets the mood" 03 Dreamy Haze - "A bright coral that adds radiance" The Purest Candy Water Cheek is a water-based cheek tint that gives dull skin a natural flush of color and atmosphere with its long-lasting hydrating formula. Honestly, I loved Apieu's original Juicy-Pang Water Blush so much that I went through multiple tubes, so I already knew the brand was great at water-type blushes. But this new Candy Water Cheek absolutely knocked it out of the park too. The formula, the color payoff, how it feels on skin, the moisture staying power, the way it enhances your complexion - I can confidently say I'm happy with every single aspect of this cheek tint. If I really had to nitpick, I noticed on the Daiso website that shade 1 is marketed for cool undertones, shade 2 for neutral undertones, and shade 3 for warm undertones. But based on my actual experience using them, I'd say shade 1 leans more neutral, while shades 2 and 3 are definitely warm-toned. Shade 1 is labeled as recommended for cool undertones, but it actually has a neutral feel to it!
