The color is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how well it covers pores and blemishes. Plus, the staying power is fantastic! The only downside is that the cushion formula feels a bit lacking. It really controls shine and oil beautifully. When you apply it around the outer edges of your face, it stays put without smudging or transferring. Yes - Color Selection I previously used a lighter shade, and I love that there are so many color options to choose from. The shade 1.5 is absolutely perfect for me because it creates that beautiful, soft-focus finish that looks effortless and flattering on any skin tone. Yes - Oil Control This powder does an amazing job at mattifying shine, especially in those tricky areas like the nasolabial folds and bridge of the nose. When I sweep it across my face, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and fresh, which is why I reach for it constantly during the summer months. Yes - Excellent Value The price point is incredibly reasonable, and the quality of the product absolutely justifies the cost. You're getting so much more than what you're paying for. Drawback - Built-in Puff The puff that comes with this powder isn't the best quality, and it gets dirty pretty quickly when it comes into contact with oils on your skin. I ended up purchasing extra puffs when I bought this so I could swap them out whenever the original gets soiled. Drawback - Application Control Required You really need to be careful with how much product you pick up because it's easy to apply too much. If you're not precise with the puff, the powder can go on thick and feel heavy on your skin, which doesn't look as natural or flattering. I absolutely love this! The blur effect is amazing and so affordable. If you have a fair complexion like shade 21, I definitely recommend this color! The applicator puff is way too dense and clumpy. Please, I'm begging you to change the puff quality!

When Cool Fair launched, I decided to try it, but it came out darker than expected. I think it would be perfect for shade 19, and for shade 21 users, it gives a really luminous, radiant finish. That said, I'm thrilled that they've refined the shade range so much! I'd recommend everyone go up one shade when applying. Since this foundation fills pores beautifully and creates a smooth, refined complexion, it does have a bit of thickness to it. If you don't go up a full shade, you lose that gorgeous glow and it can look heavy and cakey. I definitely suggest going up at least half a shade, ideally a full shade! No real downsides! The only thing is, if you have a bright complexion in the 13-17 range, Fair might give you that luminous finish you're after, so you might not be completely satisfied with Cool Fair. Go up one full shade when you order! For example, if you're typically a 19-21, grab the Cool Fair.
