I saw this recommended in a dermatologist's skincare routine video on YouTube and decided to try it. The hydration is so impressive that I can skip the moisturizer cream entirely. I developed tons of small, congested bumps across my T-zone, between my brows, and cheekbones - the kind that feel like clogged sebum and pop when you press them with your nail. I have oily skin in those areas, and I realized this product contains pore-clogging ingredients that don't work for me. If you have combination skin like mine, I wouldn't recommend it. Plus, when I apply makeup over this, it pills and bunches up like fabric pilling. A dermatologist friend of mine recommended this product, so I decided to try it, and I have to say it's genuinely wonderful! The hydration is amazing. I didn't use emulsions before, but ever since discovering this product, I've been applying emulsion first and then cream on top, and it makes such a noticeable difference in keeping my skin from feeling dry. I used this when I had dermatitis and it really helped control the dryness. It's nothing extraordinary, but it definitely didn't disappoint me. Fair warning though—it does have a slightly oily feel to it. I'm not sure if it actually strengthens the skin barrier like it claims. Honestly, I feel like I wasted my money on this one. My skin gets really oily and sweaty in summer, but it also tends to feel dry at the same time. This emulsion is absolutely perfect for summer use. It feels hydrating without being heavy, and my makeup applies beautifully over it. I haven't experienced any irritation, and honestly, it's just a solid, reliable product that does exactly what it should. There's not much to complain about, really. Less sticky and absorbs beautifully. If you love a lightweight, non-tacky feel, this is definitely worth trying! That said, if you have very dry skin, this alone won't fully address dryness. I got a large supply from my dermatologist and have been using it with my kids for years now. My child's skin is extremely dry, and no matter what moisturizer or cream I try, they end up scratching their body constantly. But with this product, there's no scratching! I apply it to their body, and I use it on my face too. Since it's covered by insurance, the cost is really manageable. When I apply it to my kids' bodies, a 300ml bottle runs out in just a month, which means I have to buy it every single month. Plus, even though it's covered by insurance, I end up having to pay some of it back during tax season. But honestly, our family can't give up on this product.
