I really loved how cleanly this absorbs into my skin. It's such a smooth application that leaves no sticky residue behind. I couldn't really tell if it was calming my skin, and it didn't help control my oil or sebum at all. It actually felt a bit irritating to my skin, which was disappointing. I'm a middle school boy who has tried various products, but my breakouts weren't improving, so I ordered this product hoping it would help. However, using it alone doesn't seem to make much of a difference. First, I used Teracne365 Hydro Active Toner. Then I tried another brand's trouble-calming serum. Third, I combined it with another brand's BHA cream, and that's when the inflamed breakouts actually got worse and more active. Now I'm using this product mixed 1:1 with a trouble-relief toner in a sheet mask every evening, doing one mask daily. After that, I finish with a non-comedogenic BHA cream and a hydrating moisturizer. This is honestly the most soothing routine I've tried so far. It turns out my son's acne really just needed proper hydration.

If you're dealing with acne, Aestra is absolutely the way to go! The Teracne line is seriously amazing! You've got to try it right away! It absorbs into your skin instantly and leaves everything feeling fresh and clean Honestly, there's nothing disappointing about this product! Aestra is such a solid recommendation! This toner is noticeably thicker and richer than other options. Apply it before makeup and you honestly don't need anything else—it does the job all on its own. Not ideal for summer because of how heavy the formula feels. When you use this, you really need to give yourself extra time for your other products to absorb properly afterward. Otherwise, everything just sits on top of your skin without sinking in.
