This cushion is absolutely packed with essence and leaves my skin so dewy and hydrated! It's honestly become my holy grail product. I originally bought it as a gift for my mom, but I ended up getting one for myself too because I loved it so much. It covers blemishes beautifully, isn't heavy at all, and even when it does wear throughout the day, it fades gracefully. The best part? Even during summer, it doesn't leave a greasy or heavy sensation—instead, it feels refreshingly moisturizing with a subtle cooling effect that's quite pleasant. 2. Because of how hydrating it is, I think this is the perfect product to use during the dry autumn and winter months. 3. I wasn't sure the coverage would be strong enough for full coverage, but once I finish my entire makeup look, it sets beautifully with a soft, powdery finish that creates natural-looking coverage. I'm really satisfied with how it works. 4. The amount is easy to control, and since it's a liquid formula, it contains more product than other cushion compacts, so it lasts a long time. 5. What I love most is how it makes my skin look naturally beautiful and healthy—like my own skin, just perfected. That's what makes me happiest about this product. The puff does tend to tear slightly at the edges. That said, it's not really a major concern. Since I'm someone who replaces the puff with a fresh one when it gets a bit worn anyway, this isn't a problem for me at all. If you're worried about coverage, don't keep layering the product on top of itself. I usually wear shade 21, but after trying my mom's shade 23, I decided to go with 21 for myself. The coverage isn't super heavy, but I'd say don't layer it too much to avoid a cakey look. When I use the right amount, my skin looks smooth and flawless, almost like a no-makeup makeup look. I also loved that it didn't feel thick or settle into my pores, even hours after applying it over my base. Since it has a dewy finish, it tends to get a bit oily and fade as time goes on. My skin tone is a 21, and when I tried my mom's shade 23 before buying, it looked darker but actually more natural-looking. Shade 21 is brighter and matches my skin tone better, but because the coverage is so light, it ended up looking a bit off and didn't give me the finish I wanted. Since it's an essence cushion, it applies so smoothly and hydrating even though my skin is dry. I've been using this product consistently for over 5 years now! Since I have extremely dry skin, makeup usually doesn't apply well and I'd get really frustrated. By afternoon, my skin would feel parched and tight, but Age20's moisturizing compact foundation keeps everything hydrated and adheres beautifully to my skin. Even hours after application, my skin stays comfortable without any cracking. That's why it's become a permanent staple on my vanity! Here's my breakdown: Adherence - It clings to your skin with that perfect tacky feel! Coverage and skin tone - I have slightly deeper skin and I've used both shades 21 and 23. Shade 23 gives me better coverage since it matches my deeper tone better, while shade 21 looks brighter and more radiant, though it lets some blemishes peek through a bit. The biggest strength of this compact foundation is definitely how moisturizing it is! I'm still absolutely loving the Age20 compact foundation and I've tried all the seasonal versions, so I'm giving it my full recommendation! Since this compact foundation has a creamy, moisturizing texture, it does have some oiliness to it. After wearing it for a while, I noticed it picks up a bit of dust and debris, which was disappointing. I have quite a few pores, and this product does a great job of minimizing their appearance. The coverage is really impressive, though I should mention that stubborn blemishes that need concealer will still need that extra step of coverage. At first, I thought the product felt a bit greasy, and I assumed it was just my skin type. But after reading other reviews, I realized it actually does have a higher oil content than I expected.
