It really lives up to its reputation—the coverage is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work for my skin type and feels way too dry. I even bought the refill, but I can barely bring myself to use it. The finish looks incredibly smooth the moment you apply it, and the pore coverage is excellent, giving you a flawless complexion. The final result has that velvety, powdery finish that keeps shine at bay throughout the afternoon. Highlights The pore and blemish coverage is impressive—even a sheer application creates an even skin tone. There's minimal darkening by afternoon, and the wear time is really solid. The moment you apply it, your skin looks like it's been filtered with a velvet lens—incredibly smooth. The compact is luxurious and portable, making it perfect to toss in your makeup bag. Drawbacks If you have dry skin, the adhesion can feel a bit loose, and texture or flaking may become more noticeable. Because the coverage is so good, it works better for those who prefer a matte finish rather than a sheer, natural glow. When doing touch-ups and layering multiple times, it can feel slightly heavy or suffocating. My Skin Tone I have a bright complexion that matches my neck perfectly with Clio Mesh Glow shade 19! I typically use shade 19 as my base, and I reach for shade 17 when I want a more luminous finish. I had used Age to Twenties shade 13 before, but it was way too dark for me, so I ended up giving it away. This time, I decided to try both shades 17 and 19 to see which works better! 2. Shade 17 vs Shade 19 Both shades are quite bright and neutral, with a balanced undertone that doesn't lean too heavily toward yellow or pink. This neutral base means you can use either shade without worrying too much about your skin tone. Honestly, when I apply shades 17 and 19 on my face, the difference is barely noticeable. My plan is to use shade 17 on days when I'm doing eye makeup, and stick with shade 19 for everyday wear. The difference is so minimal that you could honestly choose based on which one is on sale without any regrets. Check out the photos for reference! I'd recommend getting your usual shade number, as it should give you that fresh, luminous finish you're looking for! 3. Texture & Coverage Unlike the previous Age to Twenties formula, which was packed with oils and had lower coverage, this new version is the complete opposite. It has minimal oil content and delivers impressive coverage. It feels similar to the old balm-type BB cream, but with even less oil. The moisture it provides feels purely hydrating without any greasy sensation. Even as time passes, there's barely any oil buildup, so you get a clean finish without any shine. I didn't experience any milia or congestion, and I loved how seamlessly it adheres to the skin. The coverage is excellent and effectively conceals redness, but it doesn't feel heavy or thick for daily wear. 4. Adhesion & Application Tips Since I have textured skin with visible pores, I prioritize adhesion above all else. This product doesn't cling like a BB cream would. Instead, it emphasizes coverage and color payoff more like a foundation. Interestingly, as time goes on and natural oils emerge, it actually adheres even better! When I apply it for touch-ups, it blends smoothly without clumping or feeling stiff. As long as you prep your skin well, this product applies beautifully no matter how you use it. When you apply it over a well-hydrated base, you'll achieve that flawless, poreless skin finish! 5. Formula Characteristics & Base Pairing This is a product that looks best with a single layer rather than multiple applications. The thin texture combined with its luminous finish and solid coverage creates a synergistic effect, but layering it too much will make it look heavy and lose its advantages. Apply a hydrating base, then add one appropriate layer, and you'll get beautiful results! The finish leans toward a semi-matte on oily skin, so the key is ensuring your base skincare is sufficiently hydrating. Since this product doesn't have excessive oil or moisture content, it pairs much better with organic sunscreen plus a hydrating emulsion rather than mineral sunscreen. 6. Oxidation & Longevity There's absolutely no oxidation, and the color stays true to its initial application throughout the day. It doesn't break down, look dirty, or clump. The only thing that happens is natural oil gradually surfaces, so overall it maintains a clean appearance. With excellent coverage and decent thickness, this is an honest base product I'd recommend. I genuinely love this product! If you prep your base well, this product is seriously stunning! The way it wears is beautiful, and there's absolutely no oxidation. When you apply it for touch-ups, just blot away excess oil with blotting paper and mist with a hydrating spray, and it applies beautifully! However, this product seems better suited for initial application rather than touch-ups. If you use it instead of powder foundation, your skin's makeup quality becomes incredibly high and looks amazing! Just keep in mind that there can be slight transfer and creasing, so be aware of that. We promise to keep your base hydrated! Don't apply this over a dry base! In hot summer weather, I got about 5-6 hours of wear time. I'd recommend doing a touch-up around the 6-hour mark! Skin Type: Shades 17-19, Combination Skin This cushion compact can give you that coveted dewy, luminous complexion once you master the application technique. What I loved: 1. The leather case design is totally my style 2. The textured back of the lid makes it super easy to control how much product I'm using 3. It doesn't emphasize pores or skin texture at all, and the coverage is genuinely impressive. Even though it's a matte cushion, it creates this subtle glow that makes my skin look absolutely radiant 4. Since it's formulated for shades 17-21, the shade 21 is surprisingly bright with a beautiful ivory undertone What could be better: 1. There is some darkening that happens over time, so I do need to touch up my makeup as the day goes on 2. If you don't apply it correctly, it can shift and separate, so it definitely requires some technique to get right 3. Since this is a matte formula, I'm a bit concerned about how it will perform during the hot summer months ahead
