The coverage is really impressive. It's not quite as full-coverage as the Double Cover from the same Essence Cover line, but it still does a solid job. It applies with a heavy, cakey feel and despite being called Moisture, it doesn't actually feel hydrating at all. I picked this up based on my younger friend's recommendation, and I'm really happy with it! The coverage is fantastic, and my skin has this beautiful glow that I absolutely love. My daughter overseas asked me to send this to her, so I splurged on it including shipping costs. This powder used to be famous for its flawless finish, and when I tried it, the texture came out incredibly smooth and refined. I'm buying it again based on those memories and sending it to her. Back then, it felt so hydrating and clung beautifully to the skin with absolutely no patchiness or lifting. The product comes with 2 refills and 1 compact case without the cover attached. I haven't found any downsides yet. 1. Coverage - doesn't provide heavy coverage, but makes skin look refined and smooth. 2. Application - no special technique needed. 3. Adherence - packed with essence, so it stays put beautifully. 4. Hydration - when you scratch the compact, essence releases. That's how moisturizing it is. 5. Never emphasizes dry patches or texture. 6. Never shifts during touch-ups. 7. Lasts a long time. Usually sold with refills. I've been using only this compact for 10 years since high school. The essence moisture content varies by version, but they're all hydrating. No matter where I go, I always come back to this compact. Just use this one. Whenever I recommend this compact to friends, they stick with it. Even after trying other brands, I always return to this compact. If you need coverage for skin concerns, I'd recommend trying a different compact instead. If you're looking for a compact, this is it!
