Honestly, I only rotate between three brands - all long-established names (one uses premium ingredients, the other is Korean-made). This BB cream stands out because it has minimal darkening compared to others. The secret is applying it thinly with a puff so you get that seamless, natural skin finish without any patchy appearance. Like most regenerating BB creams, it won't provide coverage for textured or uneven skin. At first it feels a bit dry, but the more I apply it, the better it adheres to my skin. The main purpose is supposed to be renewal, and honestly, after applying it, my skin feels like it's actually regenerating. I wish it didn't have that grayish cast. That said, it does improve a bit when I layer sunscreen on top. It transfers quite a bit when I wear a mask though. What's interesting about this BB cream is that it's meant to be applied before sunscreen. This moisturizer is absolutely wonderful! It keeps my skin hydrated and comfortable throughout the day, from morning right through the afternoon. Coverage While it applies thin and naturally, the coverage isn't strong enough, so using just Alkeme BB alone feels insufficient. 2. Price I wish the price was more reasonable for the amount you get. It feels a bit pricey for the product size. 3. Ingredients After checking the ingredient list, I was surprised to find that the formula isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. When you want a more polished, made-up look, try layering a brightening cushion and concealer on top of the BB cream. I have super sensitive skin with redness and irritation, but this product calmed down all my redness! I can apply it every single day without any breakouts or reactions on my face. I've officially retired my other BB creams because this is my holy grail BB cream now!! I'm not sure what the downside is, to be honest. Perfect for sensitive, reactive skin with redness and irritation. I was using a cushion compact before, but it was making everything worse, so I ditched it. I started using this instead, and by the time I got to the office, all the inflammation had calmed down. Seriously impressive! It's honestly better than most soothing masks out there. Just keep in mind this isn't a full-coverage foundation or BB cream like you might be thinking. The coverage is basically nonexistent, but honestly, that's the only downside. If you prioritize skin health over heavy coverage, or you just need something to settle down a flare-up quickly, or you're heading out in a rush, or you want to go makeup-free while traveling, this is totally worth it. Personally, I'm going to keep using this as my base. Since my skin is so sensitive, nothing else compares. I just use a concealer for coverage instead, and it works perfectly. Like I mentioned, the coverage is really limited. You'll need to use a concealer for any real coverage.
